Buendia Corralejo Nohotel

We stayed at Buendia as a family of four and what a fantastic holiday we had. We were welcomed on arrival by very friendly and helpful staff and given a glass of fizz which was a lovely touch and started the holiday off perfectly. The rooms in our apartment were spacious and comfortable. We had everything we needed. Swimming pool was heated and sunbeds very comfortable. Staff/lifeguard were trying to stop the normal issue of putting towels on sunbeds which is always a difficult challenge. The staff were incredibly helpful throughout our stay and even came round with a complementary bottle of fizz and party bags on new year's eve which was a lovely idea and very much appreciated. We ate from waves a few times and the food was very tasty. It would have been good if it stayed open a bit later as we would have used it more but that's a very minor criticism and not an issue. The whole place is constantly being cleaned and the staff work tirelessly which is really impressive. Overall we had a lovely holiday and would certainly stay at Buendia again. Thank you

We booked this place for a Christmas break away, read all the reviews and it looked good for us. We got there and the young man on recepion was lovely, very efficient, our room wasn't ready but we did arrive before lunch time. We checked in and went for a wander. We had a short wait when we got back, they'd had a very tricky day so we had a short wait for our room. We had a spot of lunch which was really good! Our apparent nice, plenty space, lovely roof terrace, great kitchen including dishwasher with washing up liquid, sponge, towel and even dishwasher tablets. The main bedroom was a good size, very comfy bed,plenty hanging space and a little unit with 3 sections which was fine but a set of drawers would have been better. The other room had a set of bunk beds, perfect for kids but the top bunk not ideal for my tall adult daughter, they did offer to get us a single bed but she was happy to sleep on the sofa type thing in the lounge. The staff really can't do enough for you. The 2nd day we were there they put letters in everyone's apartments to ask people not to reserve sunbeds, we did find there was a bit if an issue with this, they seem to be trying to sort it. The food there was really good, we ate there a few times, the breakfast is €12 , you can get a continental breakfast and a hot cooked breakfast, you can help yourself to the continental with all the usual stuff, unlimited drinks and fruit juices etc. They have an app where you can order food from your lounger and its brought to you! There was a bit of road noise, I have to have complete quiet but I had earplugs so it was fine. I would definitely recommend the Buendia and would visit again.

Having previously always done all inclusive holidays, we wanted something different and less repetitive, as now both retired we wished to stay for longer. So, having read the excellent reviews, we chose Buendia. Check-in was very easy . Everyone at the welcome loft was very friendly. Information regarding the weekly cleaning, emptying of bins , towel changes, etc. was given and in connecting to the WiFi.. We had upgraded to an apartment with a poolside terrace, which, as we were staying for 4 weeks, proved to be very spacious. The kitchenette had everything we required, including a dishwasher. There is no oven, but the microwave is a combination one. If I were to make a suggestion for improvement, a set of instructions as to how to use it to its full capabilities would be very handy. There were instructions for the hob. The WiFi was really good, certain areas better than others, but a connection ws available in most areas. Upstairs, there are 2 bedrooms, 1 with a huge, very comfortable bed, the second has bunks. There is a ceiling fan in the main room, but nothing in the second. Made no difference to us, but I would imagine at the height of summer it would be very warm. Opening the windows creates a breeze, but it could be fairly noisy on occasions. Everything was clean and inviting. The staff always seen wiping something down, both inside and out. We had included breakfast in our stay, which was thoroughly enjoyable , full English, omelettes cooked to order, and a cold buffet. Yet again , friendly staff. The pool is heated, though still a tad cold. Sunbeds were always available. The most comfortable sunbeds I've ever lain on, though they are low to the ground. There are, however, double ones surrounded by water, and these are higher. No loud music round the pool, so a very chilled atmosphere, very relaxing. All the staff are very approachable, everyone speaks as they pass by, it felt very homely. Location is excellent! It's in the old town, and yes, there is some building work being carried out, as it's in a residential area, but you really do not here any noise and it has an excellent supermarket 5 mins away, a couple of restaurants close by, and it's only a 10 minute walk to all the bars and restaurants . So close enough for everything to be in walking distance. To sum up, it is an excellent place to unwind and recharge the batteries. But close by many bars ,restaurants, and shops including designer ones.We have already booked for the same time next year. Thank you, Buendia, for an amazing time. We await our return!

This was our 1st time to buendia and have to say loved it from minute we arrived and glass of bubbles at loft in check in,we had a rooftop apartment which was fantastic especially for late in afternoon sitting watching sun go down,pool and sunbeds really good and on a Monday in bar someone is singing as you are offered some light nibbles and champagne really excellent from staff who are simply incredible if you need or ask you get only a short walk to main hub of corralejo just can't go wrong I'd highly recommend this hotel

We stayed as a family of 4. (8yrs &15yrs old). Having read the reviews before arrival , I had a good idea of the concept of the place. Location is awesome- so close to harbour, restaurants and bars. Supermarket mins walk and reasonable priced.. good range vegan and other dietary foods. Room - we had 2 bedded with roof top. We were room 331 and had sun somewhere throughout the day. Kids room looked over pool area , large dbl over a road and roof had pool and road / sea coast views. The staff work very hard, lovely welcome and always helpful. The app is fab.. loads helpful good recommendations food, drinks and placed to visit. You can also message the staff aka 'loft'. Place is very clean. We stayed 9 nights so had the 1 clean.. it was fab. Used wave bar a few times also good service. Only gripe was sunbed situation- the staff ask guests not to reserve, the lifeguard will put a sign to say he will remove but l think they need to be stricter and just remove stuff if left for more then 30 mins. Sadly, some guests are just selfish and l saw 1 family gone for over 2 hrs. In summary great little find

Our second stay at Buendia was as fantastic as our first. We were met by the lovely Team with a welcome glass of cava. Our rooftop terrace room was fantastic and we were met with a lovely card and bottle of wine for our anniversary. The staff are truly a credit to this hotel. Thank you for looking after us, and we hope to see you again.
