Our first night in Cebu was truly an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere was vibrant and full of life, making us feel immediately immersed in the local charm. What stood out the most, however, was the incredible hospitality of the staff. Each person we encountered was so warm, friendly, and attentive, ensuring that we felt welcomed and comfortable throughout the evening. Their kindness and professionalism added a special touch to our stay, making it even more enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for a better start to our time in Cebu!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Solea Hotel, and it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming and attentive, making check-in a breeze. The lobby was beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. My room was spacious and impeccably clean, with stunning views of the city skyline. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. I also appreciated the thoughtful amenities, including a coffee maker and complimentary toiletries. The on-site restaurant offered a delightful dining experience, with a diverse menu and delicious food. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which had plenty of options to satisfy every palate. The hotel’s location is another highlight—close to major attractions yet nestled in a quiet area, perfect for a relaxing stay. I also took advantage of the fitness center and spa, both of which were well-maintained and offered a great way to unwind. Overall, my experience at Solea Pams Resort was exceptional. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I can’t wait to return!

Solea Mactan Resort is a wonderful destination for couples seeking a romantic and tranquil escape. The resort’s serene location, far from the noise of the city, provides an intimate setting perfect for quality time together. Its beautifully designed pools and lounging areas offer the perfect opportunity to relax, whether by soaking up the sun or enjoying peaceful moments by the water. The dining options are a highlight, with the sky bar and beach bar offering picturesque views and delicious food that set the stage for romantic meals. The staff is attentive and thoughtful, ensuring your stay feels special and stress-free. Couples can also indulge in spa treatments or take leisurely walks around the resort’s well-maintained grounds to unwind further. Overall, Solea Mactan Resort combines comfort, excellent service, and a peaceful ambiance, making it a perfect retreat for couples looking to reconnect and relax.

Just stayed one night there but we luckily had an early check in so we made full use of our time there. I have no complaints on the facilities but it really is a classic resort culture catering to large groups and families with young children. Lots of kids and noise, so for us as a couple wanting a romantic getaway, it didn't really work for us. I had a feeling it would be like that so we just booked for the one night. The room was fine, probably due for an update in the near future. Breakfast buffet was good and we had a nice dinner there, the prices were reasonable for a resort.

My little girl who turned 6 years old this month had another lovely time in our favorite resort here in Cordova. We have spent countless special events in our life here and we will continue to love and go back to this place.. The beach has improved a lot, loving the natural strong waves during high tides and Im loving the new set up of the benches. The pools are always clean. Special thanks to the receptionist Den who gave us a beautiful room and we had a pretty view of the pools outside. The waiters and waitresses are all warm, helpful and very hospitable. Special mention and thanks to our breakfast angels: feanz, may and marn. lunch angels- lowell, jericho. To the waiters and waitresses who cheerfully danced and greeted my daughter a happy birthday, to Lenidy, Jerson, John Leo, Jericho, Lovely, Jade and Franzette. You were all wonderful! Great place,very relaxing! the kids and the young at heart will enjoy the amenities they have.there's peace and quiet in some places if you like to be just be with yourself. The food is great too!

I’ve been booking thru Trip for this hotel but it was the first time I was told that I didn’t pay includes the amenities they couldn’t give us vouchers for amenities like the inflatable pool, kayaking and playgrounds for kids. We’re also given an occupied room, was shocked when we open the room there are people inside 😳

The room was nice. It was spacious, had large beds, and ambient lighting. However, the hairdryers don’t work (we were given a room in two different floors, but both rooms had the same issue), and the water from the faucet and shower were salty.  The resort itself was beautiful. The amount the pools and recreational activities can really cater to larger groups of people in all different ages. The beachfront was huge and very attractive. However, some staff were not as enthusiastic and/or approachable.  Overall, our experience was wonderful. Despite the few things we encountered during our stay, we still recommend this place and would consider coming back.

My third time booking in Solea Palm Resort. This time, together with my family. I can say that this is by far the best resort for kids within Mactan. It has great amenities and many kiddie pools to choose from. No doubt kids would enjoy it here. The staff are also approachable and very welcoming. Just a minor feedback on the room's cleanliness though, when we checked in on our room, I could still see hairs and dust on the floor. It was kinda off for us especially having a baby in the room. Aside from that, our stay was good and would still consider coming back.

This place is great for couple, friends or family staycation. There are a lot of amenities that you can enjoy from. Food is 10/10

We had a great stay

The property is older and very much showing its age structurally. The property pictures do not reflect the current situation. The elevators floors are torn patched up but need to be replaced, the elevator buttons are opposite of what they should be doing; many pools and fountains are rusted and need to be fixed. The pool staff do work very hard cleaning the pools but they still look old and worn out with broken tiles and mildew/plants growing around them. The ocean front is a lagoon with weeds and old cement piers, stagnant water. The rooms are kept clean by the staff that words hard every day but the air conditioning leaks, the bathroom shades are stained, walls are cuffed up and dirty, flooring is scratched up, and shower caulking is black from mold and fixtures are rusted. The front desk staff had to move me twice at 3 am in the morning due to issues. They worked hard to accommodate me but unfortunately not all the staff was trained to the same level as the managers. Many guests complained to the front desk leaving them tired and without many options except to say “sorry “.  When I asked if I could get a simple cappuccino from one of the front desk attendants ( knowing that they have an expression machine at the bar), I was told that “ we don’t have that” leaving me perplexed by the lack of knowledge of that staff member. When I went to another person at the restaurant to ask a question about the coffee, I was told to “get in line”. What?! I stood there looking shocked until one of the managers from the upstairs bar recognized me and immediately grabbed an a la cart menu and was able to provide me with a table and a cappuccino from the very talented barista. Truly a shame that the non management staff in the lobby do have customer service training. The best experience and management came from the rooftop bar and restaurant. They were exceptional. They went out of their way to make guests feels special. They sang birthday songs and got extra fans for the guests. They talked to guests and got to know them and their needs. Bravo to them and the one manager who took care of my room needs. Growing up in the hotel business with my parents, I can only hope that this review helps to improve the current status. I also recommend adding more safety mats that absorb water by the entrances of the Palm hotel and in areas where water accumulates (for obvious safety reasons), provide guests a microwave near the rooms to heat up food ( for families with children who have special needs and snacks), fix the credit card machine in the souvenir shop ( as they are extorting dollars and cash from guests), clean up trash that has been dumped around property that can be seen from guest rooms (ugly to view), and update your trip.com site to show when pools are closed for repairs. I have many more recommendations but truly not enough time to list them all. Yours truly-
