Isle of Capri Casino Hotel Boonville

Our weekend trip to Boonville, was quite relaxing. Our stay at the Isle of Capri was pleasant. Our room was comfortable and we love Brew Brothers Restaurant. We will be back for future stays in the area.

Staff was horrible, never at front desk, our room did not get cleaned. When we asked about cleaning we were told you had to request housekeeping.

This property is shared with a ****** and definitely smells like cigarette smoke, but the room itself did not smell. The food at the restaurant was very good

Right away, the alarm clock was broken. Maintenance ultimately partially fixed it. But then the alarm went off on its own at 6am - waking me unnecessarily. Then, one of my towels had holes in it, and all the towels and bedclothes smelled like accumulated humanity. My conditioner bottle was almost empty. The shower curtain that keeps water from flowing on to the ground was unsnapped, and there would have been a big puddle in the bathroom had I not fixed it. The mattress collapsed under my weight until I was sort of sleeping in a bowl - it hurt my back. I presumed there would be breakfast of some sort - but there wasn't anything available. Everyone was very nice though. Just... a kind of run down hotel with questionable maid service.

My low ratings are because this hotel is just okay. Not fancy, no frills. Good things... our sheets were clean and nice. Bed and pillows were clean and very comfortable. Water pressure in the shower was awesome! Downfalls... looks like no one has ever vacuumed in the corners, edges, or behind nightstands, etc... The bathroom was the same... quite dirty all around the edges of the floor--- hair, dirt yuck. If you can ignore that (which we did our best) This hotel is okay for the price. I mean, you do kind of get what you pay for. We got what we needed for a couple nights, but if this was a vacation trip, I would have been much more disappointed.

It went downhill since changed to Ceasars. No microwave in room. Floor had big stain carpet. No valet parking anymore.

Room was nice size but not real clean. Beds were like laying on a plastic tarp and pillows were small and air puffed. Night was quiet.

Let me start by saying we have stayed at this property several times and have always enjoyed ourselves. This most recent visit however wasn't as pleasant. Our first encounter with the front desk wasn't as expected. We prepayed for our 3 rooms online but when at the desk they wanted another $60 per room which was not stated on *******. We had all our money in cash to spend at the ****** so we had to figure that problem out.The beds were comfortable but the sheets felt and sounded like newspaper. We couldn't get the room cooler the 68°. We used to smoke but stopped a few years ago but the smoke was so thick we could hardly stand the smell or breath. The walls in the rooms were tinted yellow from smoke. The restaurant was delicious and had excellent service at the bar. Overall we were highly disappointed this trip and we will spend our money at another ******, hotel, and restaurant.

The coffee available in the room was horrible. There was no ice bucket in the room to get ice. Not enough dining options.
