Such fantastic accommodations. All the restaurants were excellent! The location was great…we walked to Old San Juan and back twice. They kept our room clean and supplied with complimentary water and snacks—even had turn down service with sweets left on the nightstand every evening.

Thank you for the excellent stay. we didn't manage to find the jacuzzi but we didn't try too hard, either. The pool was very nice, the pina colada was delicious, and the rooms were very comfortable. The infinity pool is on the cliff overlooking the ocean, it's small but beautiful, and it opens until midnight. Beach isn't close by and at the closest one tide is pretty high so we just stayed at the pool area.

This is one of the only hotels that had a private entrance to a beach, chairs and towels available on the beach. A pool, pool, and infinity pool, a hot tub, three different types of restaurants available for in location dining or room service. It truly was a magical place! The people are so kind.

This was a very pretty old historic property, The staff was helpful and easy to communicate with. We needed to move rooms and they were able to accommodate. We were originally on the front of the building level 200 right by the driveway for deliveries. Very noisy trucks were backing in all night with loud back up signals. I would not recommend that floor for that reason. The room was pretty . It was in the original part of the building. Lots of marble which I don't think helped with the noise level.Overall a nice hotel friendly, helpful staff. Location is great, Very walkable close to shops and restaurants. I would happily stay here again.

Booked the hotel for a last-minute, "we need some sun" trip. The location was great for access to restaurants (we didn't rent a car), but the beaches were rocky and waves very strong (Atlantic side), so we retreated to the pools. The staff was wonderful -- generous with recommendations and responsive to requests.
The biggest issue was the presence of large (loud) weddings in the main ballroom on Fri and Sat -- the bands played until midnight and the sound reverberated up to our room. If you're a light sleeper, request a room in one of the towers, rather than in the main building.
Food options in the hotel were not cheap ($49 breakfast buffet?), but the tacos were delicious.

The hotel is beautiful, and service was nearly perfect. The meal we had at 1919, where we had the chef’s tasting menu, was one of the most memorable we’ve had.
The pools were nice, and we had no trouble getting loungers/umbrellas; it was nice to have the hot tub in an adults only area away from the main pool.
The only nit I have is that the restaurants other than 1919 were not really on par with the prices charged, and close to $50 for two pina coladas when tip was included. We primarily left the property for meals and drinks.

My husband and I loved this hotel. From the service, to the atmosphere, drinks and food. Top notch!!! Highly recommend if visiting San Juan
