Good location for local amenities

Visited here a few times when on our holidays in Chipping Norton. The staff are always friendly and the locals are polite, making for a good a**osphere. They have the football on which is a bonus point. However, we found that they close at 11pm on a Saturday night, which we found odd. Drinks prices are competitive with other places in the town, but of good quality. Operating times let the place down in my opinion. But will return when visiting CN again.

Brigit was amazing. We didn't see much of her but that's because we didn't have any problems! When we did see her, she was so kind and an amazing host. We had to head off without saying goodbye, but thank you so much for taking such good care of us! The room is perfect for a family of four and the bath is an brilliant experience - you get to relax surrounded by the stone walls which reminds you where you are. Great Indian restaurant and Chippy is a lovely wee town

Last minute booking. Room just what we needed.. Very helpful staff.. Shower.. double bed plus single . Tea/coffee a plenty.. TV . Pub underneath was great.. Great little find Recommended to us by locals ...

This is a classic ale house is very close to town centre, and stayed overnight. The rooms were clean, bed very comfortable, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Landlady (Bridget) was brilliant, so friendly, chatty and fun, full of fascinating stories. Also Bridget is very knowledgeable about local eateries as they don't currently serve food. Great value for money, my son and I had such a laugh all evening. Well done Bridget! We recommend this as a good value place to stay, very close to all amenities in "Chippy".

Great welcome and really nice hosts. Room was clean and warm with everything you need. Nice pub downstairs, plenty of dining options as the Kings Arms is on a well- served high street. Pretty perfect in my opinion and I’ll definitely stay again

Lovely place to stay rooms perfect size for a family. Beds so comfortable, landlady friendly and helpful we needed early check in for a wedding and they accommodated time for us Can't fault at all yes parking limited but long stay car park across the road.

I recently stayed at The Kings arms Hotel for two nights as I initially went to visit Jeremy Clarkson's farm but also took the time to explore chat Chipping Norton has to offer. My stay there was superb and couldn't really fault it. It stated that it wasn't doing food so off the cuff plans were made for that, but the stay at the hotel itself was lovely. I booked the triple room with the bath which was so nice after the drive there. The Room is a great size with plenty of tea and coffee to keep you going and the comfort of the room was second to none. It was clean and tidy which is all you can really ask for when you are looking for a place to get your head down basically. The staff were pleasant and very welcoming each time they seen you and the landlady took extra time it was felt having a chat with you which was great. There is plenty of space in the car area and it has a pool table and dartboards towards the rear of the pub. Again that itself was clean tidy and inviting with a warm environment and pleasant/ welcoming a**osphere. Drinks are fairly priced and the land lady knows how to measure her spirits and mixer perfectly. I'd highly recommend staying here and would do so again time and time again.

Situated perfectly for the town centre ,a very friendly hotel with a lovely landlady, Bridget. Whilst being a little bit 'tired' and in need of some redecoration, the hotel suited our needs. Good value for money if you just need a bed to sleep in. No food at the moment, but plenty of restaurants, bars, cafe's to choose from nearby. I'd happily stay here again.
