This hostel is a gem. I came up for a long (four-day) weekend, went to see Penn & Teller at the Chicago Theater Friday night, ran the 2023 Chicago Marathon on Sunday morning. All of the guests were friendly and I met some new friends. The staff were likewise friendly, courteous, and helpful. The hostel was clean, particularly the bathrooms. There are plenty of lockers for storing your gear; kitchen has all the amenities. The hostel is two blocks from the L and it's a 20-minute ride to downtown on the Red Line. Convenience stores, restaurants, coffee shops, bars are within one to three blocks. The neighborhood appeared to be safe and the streets are well-lighted. Great place to stay!

The hostel was clean and the staff we met friendly.... Lauren and Elliot. The location was GREAT!! The bathrooms were private and the night we stayed it was very quiet and we slept really well. It was a really good place to stay for the one night we were in town.

I was really impressed with my stay at the Wrigley Hostel. Not only was it in a prime location within walking distance of the Red Line transit, but also Wrigley stadium and other attractions as well as excellent dining and shopping options, bars… The hostel was exceptionally comfortable with a friendly and welcoming staff. They have a full kitchen to prepare meals… I stayed in an 8 person bunk room and everyone was nice and sociable. They have oversized lockers for you to use (bring a lock or buy one there). The only complaint I would have is that it was they do not have male only rooms. Not a huge deal, but I would have preferred this. I highly recommend The Wrigley Hostel and will stay there again if my plans warrant it.

This place is very clean, located in the perfect location and you can just walk to restaurants around. The price was affordable. It has free parking which was so helpful. A lot of living area, computer room, pool table, and free coffee. The receptionist was very nice.

This hostel has really friendly staff. There are nice common areas like a lounge, kitchen, and computer room. Also fantastic location near metro and a good number of bars. Felt safe running by myself in the morning nearby

Kind and helpful staff with a fun atmosphere. Open areas were clean and had everything you would need. Bedrooms were small, but extremely affordable and comfortable. I have no complaints and would happily stay here again!

The Wrigley Hostel stay was great. The rooms are well kept and the common area is stocked with the essentials. I found that sleeping in a room with 7 other people was difficult, but that is entirely on me. I did upgrade my stay for the last night so I was in a private bedroom and the staff was very accommodating for the upgrade, based on availability. The common areas are nice and cool to hang out in whether by yourself or with some friends. There are multiple bathrooms on each floor and each one is clean. Parking outside can be a bit of a pain finding street parking but it's great that the hostel is close to public transportation so you can go without a car your whole stay rather easily. I think it is a great alternative to staying at an expensive hotel if you're looking for a fun and interesting experience while saving some money.
