Had to park several blocks away. They take a $150 deposit when arrive on top of your room charges. They have no provided breakfast, no pool, do not provide any privacy door hangers, no microwave in room. And my room had roaches!

One of two elevators was out of service for maintenance since days and for all our stay and it caused long wait line with waste of time ! Also the 09/04 no cleaning room service cause “ Labor Day” ! I personally think this is unacceptable and they should give us a refund for those issues…..

Besides my flight arriving super early and I wasn’t able to get early check in, the hotel staff was very accommodating and the hotel itself was amazing. Will definitely return.

My king room was on the smaller side but I couldn"t really notice: great shower and a comfortable bed. Although the room wasn't the quietest as a firehouse is a block over, it wasn't loud enough to wake me up or keep me from sleeping. Overall a great place to stay downtown with many great restaurant options within walking distance, and the restaurant in the lobby is great with excellent options.

Property was very nice and staff was helpful and friendly. Parking around the area is relatively expensive

We had a great corner room city view. The hotel and room itself to me was just average. I've stayed at Aloft hotels in other cities. This one just doesn't have as much character and charm as the others. You're basically paying for the location anyway. Biggest ICK was at check-in. Who pops their gum while working with guests? Very unprofessional team member at the check in counter. I was not impressed.

Richard at the front desk was very accommodating and friendly. We wanted to drop off our luggage for a few hours before check-in, and they were able to find us a room and checked us in early. It was such a nice surprise and it was awesome to be able to freshen up in our room before heading out for the day.

Super friendly staff, nicely appointed hotel — nothing fancy, but is equipped with everything one needs. Charging for late checkout seems odd but was worth it for fewer interruptions to my workday. Love the location. It’s walkable, easy access to train and tons of restaurants.

Me and my partner went there for a 6 day trip and everything was amazing. We have stayed at multiple Marriott properties and this is by far one of the best we have stayed at. The front desk agents were friendly and helpful. The valet team was timely and welcoming. We only requested housekeeping service once and it was done well. It was spotless when we came back. Lastly, the area is nice. There are eateries, bars, stores and pharmacies near by if you need anything it’s a walk away. If I visit Chicago, I will definitely try to stay at this location again. Thanks to the Aloft River North team for making our stay exactly what we needed!

I LOVED the area it was in, there were so many dining options whether it was coffee, bars, dinner, bakeries... A huge variety within 5 minutes walking. Staff was so nice and willing to make accommodations - If I return to Chicago I'm staying here again.

Had a great weekend getaway at a loft. Great location, walk to the L line. Less than 5 minutes. Great food at restaurant in the lobby. Friendly staff all around great hotel!
