Nice older motel, clean and priced reasonably. A place to lay your head and take a shower. Have been 3 times now and they do a great job

Adequately clean but very shabby. There is a reason it is cheap. Based on the colorful and battered bathroom tile, it dates from the 1940s, and remnants of old paint jobs and bashes and dings are everywhere, making it appear more dirty than it is. Bed and bed linens were nice. Standard heating/cooling system controlled in the room, but no smoking room was still a tad stinky. Room was big, bathroom tiny. Door lock secure, but door itself ill fitting. Microwave and fridge very nice, but no way to make coffee unless you bring your own stuff, including something to boil water in microwave. Harsh fluorescent lighting. One plug available for phone charging. No sign visible outside, it’s behind a big liquor store, had to rely on gps to find it.

Very well lit up at night after returning from dinner with friends. Also please thank “May” the wonderful lady who welcomed me th the drift wood inn.

Our floor was very sticky, so keep your socks on. Everything else was really lovely, for the price we paid. Service was amazing, very kind and accommodating. Bathroom is old, but clean. Beds are comfy. Fridge and microwave are new and useful. If you’re looking for affordable and you won’t spend a lot of time there, Driftwood Inn is perfect.

Older motel, clean quiet and price is great. Have been here twice and coming back in Oct. Beds were new and comfy.

Went to check in. Front lobby locked. Sign says “back in 15 minutes”.
Check-in after receptionist returns.
Go to room. Prepare to take shower and realize there are no towels.
Front lobby locked. Sign says “back in 15 minutes”.
Go back numerous times over several hours.
Front lobby locked. Sign says “back in 15 minutes”.
Skip the shower.
Next morning go to check out.

Room smelled really bad. There was hair in the bathroom and only wiring where the smoke detector used to be. We used our own sheets and opted not to use the shower.

The room was very old looking. Rust in the tub, paint peeling, old furniture. No peep hole on the door. Didn’t seem very secure.
