Our family went on tour for 3 days to stay in this VGP Resorts. It was a mixed experience of both excellent and a couple of disappointments. Overall a best place to holiday for the family. 1. Front Desk: The staff was quite courteous and welcomed us and allotted the rooms after showing the cottages. A refreshing welcome drink was missing. 2. Cottages: The cottages were quite big enough with the bath tubs, in some rooms, in the back open area of the room was exciting. The cots were very comfortable. However, the bathrooms needs to be updated. The House Keeping supervisors Mr. Madhu and another were very cooperative and tried to understand our needs well. 3. Swimming Pool: Quite a cool pool with a uniform depth of 4.5 ft and a small children pool. We did enjoy the pool on the second day as the pool was not operational on the day of our arrival 4. Restaurant: Food served on Al Carte was very good and tasty. The Chef and supervisor Mr. Anand enquired with us on all days what best they could serve us. They did a good job. But the flip side was the Buffet Breakfast, which was disappointing on all days of our stay. Breakfast needs improvement. All said and done, the stay was excellent for the entire family and we enjoyed.

It was a fantastic stay, I would stay. I had checked-in little late on Thursday ***** with my colleague since we had to finish our work in the office. We were allocated room in less than 10 minutes. The room was so clean and so as the restroom which had shower cap, couple of dental kits, couple of soaps, shampoo, moisturiser, water bottles(Kinley). Room has MI LED with remote, SCV cable connection, Vestar AC with remote, Cupboards, beautiful balcony etc., Coming to the property as a whole, it has beach and if you wake up early, you can see crane, crabs and most sun rise. You get complimentary breakfast ***** with your room stay (on select packages) which is so good. Loved egg omelette, bread toast, Pongal, Vada, sambar, idli etc., Coffee alone could been better. You have kids play area, log swing, net swing etc., Property is strategically located and is closely located to VGP Golden Beach, VGP Marine Kingdom, VGP Snow Kingdom and is close to Muttukaadu, Crocodile Park, Mahabalipuram etc., You’ll surely love the stay :)

We were completely disappointed with the rooms, no hot water, no fan in rooms and the ac was years old and it doesn’t work well and we had power cuts for more than 10times within 24hours. They don’t have much options for kids except beach, indoor games and very average play area. One good thing is that their complimentary breakfast was good. I don’t recommend this place as we pay so much but not even the basics was provided

0 zero percent support and help from reception and maintenance stuff l. No one care for you. They don't even know the meaning of hospitality. From reception terrible rooms half broken will be located very far from sea. And no one will even bother to help you locate your room. All the amenities list on the list is fake. Not even wifi available. Please avoid and if you want please stay in so pg not here. Not worth single rupee also.

Staff,, security and restaurant staff are very rude. Yesterday there was no electricity in the room untill 7. 30 pm
then we had to again shift the room
quality of breakfast is bad, not worth for the money spent no water supply, pump is burnt

I would have given negative rating if available property is not at all maintained and its worth to pay around 2000 rupees and main issue we faced in ground floor room is the back door was not closing properly and snake entered the room luckily we survived without biting

Nice old school resort with good beach. People used to modern hotels might find it substandard. It has its own charm.
