WaterWalk Extended Stay by Wyndham Charlotte - Arrowood

Property is clean and quiet. Like apartment living. Full kitchen 9. TV in living and bed rooms. No daily housekeeping.

The place is very nice. however when we arrive an upset employee was behind close doors yelling and cussing at the manager. This discussion should have been moved to an area that guest could not hear. Another employee came out to start helping us. No one mentioned anything about what we heard or apologized. Got to the room and we noticed the rug had not been vacuumed. I did not think much about it. It was a nice room, table a little large for the space. Got back from an evening out and went to go to bed and discovered the sheet were dirty and full of hair. Then noticed the comforter was dirty as well. We went out and bought blankets pillows and pillow cases so we could sleep. The bedspread seemed to be ok. talked to the "manager: on duty the next morning and she said oh wow I am sorry. That was it. Also no smoking hotel however our hallway smelled like **** all the time and Saturday the smell was so strong it was coming in our room. we were told that our room was on the side that had long term guest like residents and there is not much they can do about what they do in their rooms. Nice place but there could be some improvements. or make guest more aware of the rules for the "resident" side

Love the stay however the biggest cons for me personally were: there is no hot water and the water pressure is not good, the covers on the beds are thin, and I was not given wash cloths.

rooms were clean but, no soap, conditioner or shampoo in the shower, no coffee packets in the room, no ice machine and waited 15 minutes for a front desk attendant to come check us in.. now, this is to help improve. the services. we would stay again if we are in the area.. we liked that there was a washer and dryer in the room also..

Do not stay here!!! The rooms were not cleaned. Section 8 and HUD lives on property. it’s dirty loud people/music outside 3/4am and smells like cigarettes and ****. We had used toilet paper in both bathrooms. No staff at front counter most of the time, nor do they answer the phones. We had no blankets in our room and our room was filthy upon arrival. This was a trip I pre planned and splurged on for my children. Our trip was ruined because of our overall experience at this location. I couldn’t sleep due to feeling unsafe, being cold at night, people yelling outside throughout the night until 3/4 in the morning and the smell of **** and cigarettes in both our room and hallway. I’ve called the hotel - no response, emailed the hotel - no response, emailed corporate-no response and, called corporate numerous times. Do not book here! You will regret it!

When we got in our room we noticed that the toilet and shower had not been cleaned.The trash had not been emptied either. The front desk has to give us cleaning products and gloves to clean ourselves. Because she was there by herself we ended up being so stopped up and sick because the vents were so disgusting. I will never stay here again it really could be a great place they just need a new cleaning crew. Management needs to go behind the housekeepers to check the rooms and that would probably help.

The stay could have been so much better then it was with a few changes. It stated no smoking but that is not true as our room was filled with smoke throughout the day from the units around us smoking. The floors in the room were nice but could have been much nicer if they had been swept. Only one lap barley worked. If it stayed on two long the switch would not catch to turn it off. Along with the smell of smoke there was a terrible smell that came from the vents when the fan was on in the bathroom, and since it was connected to the light, there was no way of turning it off. Last, you could never get the front desk on the phone, all calls were forwarded. Could be a great space for a family vacay with several minor updates.

The property was clean staff was friendly and nice. Easy getting in and out of the place .

The price for what we got was terrific. Yes, there were issues (poor bathtub drainage, inadequate kitchen items and towels, loose towel hook), but the layout was fabulous for three couples (3 bedroom-2bath unit). The kitchen/living room/dining was spacious for our gatherings. Generous windows so lots of light. P.S. We didn't report most issues (other than kitchen and towel deficiencies) until checkout, at which time they were gracious and appreciative about our reporting them.
