Indigo Inn

Met all of our needs however 2nd floor by elevator gets a little noisy. Would recommend this hotel and will stay again . Complimentary breakfast and wine and charcuterie were excellent.

Loved the wine and munchies served at 5, all rooms are well appointed, but open to the outside courtyard, and it was 35 degrees. Friendly service!

Our stay at the Indigo Inn was absolutely amazing. They are centrally located to pretty much anywhere you want to go. We walked everywhere. They have their own parking lot so we didn’t have to park our car on the street. The courtyard was so quaint. Great for eating the complimentary breakfast or sipping coffee in the late evening and listening to the water fountain. I would recommend the Indigo Inn to anyone. We will definitely be returning.

Absolutely loved the staff and hospitality. Loved the waffle heated up at breakfast. Grateful for ease of parking. Traveled with a 15 month old who kept sticking his fingers in the low level air conditioning unit which had mold in it. Definitely not a modern hotel by any means.

Indigo is an independent hotel near the Charleston Market area. We enjoyed easy check-in, their evening wine & cheese hour, and good advice on nearby dining. Cozy, with good personality - not a glitzy chain. Loved it.

The stay was great. The room needed some refurbishing. There should be a recycling program. Literally, everything was thrown away.

The front desk employees are delightful. The night cap and breakfast were lovely The beds are very comfortable BUT The bathroom is ridiculously small. Very hard to get in and close the door to use the toilet and I’m slim. ALSO since all the rooms open to a courtyard- anyone walking by at night or early in the morning - it’s very loud as the sound echos.

When we checked in we were greeted with a bottle of sparkling wine to commemorate our anniversary. Our room was a queen atrium room with one bed. The room is quite small. There was a couch and chair for sitting in while watching TV. The bathroom is split into two rooms. The shower and toilet are seperate from the sink area. The granite was cracked on the countertop and had not been repaired well. The shower/toilet area is quite small with the door being right in front of the toilet so a little trickly to manuever to get into the shower. The amenities for bathing were nice. The heater in the room worked well as we had a cool day and it was appreciated to warm up the room after being out in the wind and cold during the day. The bed is another story. It was a four poster bed and it was quite high to climb into. The frame was also quite squeaky and was not very comfortable. Every time either of us moved the other would wake up from the squeaky. Around 11:30 pm someone decided to start moving the iron chairs/tables in atrium area and was quite disruptive. I am sure most people in the rooms heard the commotion. It was rather loud being that the atrium is closed in a bit and the sound carried. The reception in the evening reception was a nice touch. I would probably not return here.

Excellent. People Very Friendly and services outstanding!!! Very centrally located. Rooms very comfortable and clean. If you are ever going to Charleston this is the place to stay!
