Very good location for experiencing West Ashley in Charleston South Carolina. Very impressed with the staff as I first entered they were very helpful and showing me my room getting the paperwork done as quick as possible all with a smile on the face. Also very impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms featured refrigerator microwave the beds were comfortable sheet soft. Also it was very quiet which I hadn't expected being on Sam rittenberg boulevard where there's always a lot of traffic. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to the area. If I'm ever around again this will be my first choice

It was the worst trip of my life I'll never go there again n I absolutely will never recommend anyone go there.. and I will do my very best to make sure everyone I know doesn't ever go there... That's the absolute worse place to go on a vacation it's sad.. they need to close it

Very tired overall, but clean and functional. Sink faucet did not work well, bathroom door sticks badly, pollen from trees completely covered my car and had to get a car wash. On the plus side it was very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Parking was plentiful and the check-in person was very friendly and helpful. It is a 10 minute drive from downtown Charleston and good restaurants. It is worth the drive to save the money on this hotel and put it toward a nice dinner on the wharf.

Older and outdoor rooms. Not what I had hoped for. Price is high for room type and amenities. Clean and quiet

It was a nice looking hotel but we didn't enjoy our stay as much as we could have. There was a giant cockroach I our room when we got back from dinner. We killed it and removed it from our room, when I told the front desk they didn't even react. The rooms were run down, the pool was freezing, breakfast was fine but they kick you out on the dot of closing hours even if you're still eating, not getting more food.

Very clean. Very roomy. Very kind staff. Great breakfast spread. Clean bedding. I will stay here again for sure!

Didn't realize the hotel buildings were not physically connected. I had to walk outside to get to my room apparently have problems with locals renting rooms possibly for illegal reasons so safety is a little concerned.

I’ve stayed at this property several times over the past year. It’s a really nice place, with well appointed rooms, and excellent front desk staff. However, their downfall is housekeeping. Too many times I’ve returned to find nothing done, no towels, nothing. And if they did clean the room it often stank of cigarette smoke, as the cleaning staff used the room to smoke! This last time I spoke to a housekeeping staff eye to eye, told them my room was open, and to please make sure they cleaned it. You guessed it, I returned to nothing done (see pics). Front desk set me up in another room, but moving is a real pain. So, beautiful property, great front desk, and terrible housekeeping. One night stay is probably ok, as you won’t need housekeeping. With that said, this last visit I found the bathroom dirty, which to be fair was unusual at this property.

Alway a nice stay. 3rd time for this traveler. Enjoyed the complimentary morning breakfast.

Excellent value. This is a well maintained older property with great proximity to Charleston and surrounding areas. Staff is friendly and courteous. Room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Breafast was good, typical hotel breakfast fare. Will stay again next trip.

What a nice hotel. Check in was simple. Super clean room with comfortable beds. Great breakfast, too! All in all, a great place to rest.
