Nearly a year after the fire, I'd assumed from their website that things would be back to normal. What a fool I was. The restaurant mentioned no longer exists. The bar and lounge have been walled off and it looks permanent. They should change their website. At the moment it's recounting a pack of lies. There is no spa either, not that I wanted one. The faults with the hotel extended to the room. The aircon is still generated from a centralised system which means that when it's hot, every room is using it and there's not enough cold air for the whole hotel. My room was warm for the length of my stay. I even resorted to keeping a shop card in the key to keep the aircon on when I went out. It didn't help. The outside temperature was 36 degrees during the day and I could feel it. There was no hot water for the whole of my stay. I tried every way possible to get hot water even in the middle of the night but there just was never any. Ok, it was hot, so I could put up with it. But why should I? This is an alleged 4 star hotel. Unlike others, I found the hotel clean as was my room. The cleaners were friendly and diligent. I refused cleaning on the second day. I didn't need clean towels! I don't change my towels at home daily! However, the lady pressed a couple of bottles of water on me. These were extremely welcome. The reception staff and the cleaners are what saves this review from being one star. I asked if my freezer blocks could be put in a freezer. That was no problem. The wifi worked flawlessly. Indeed, at Meson Baco next door, where I had a meal, I could still get the hotel WiFi. To sum up, this hotel is not worth 70 quid a night. However, for my own personal needs (fridge in this the room, freezer facilities) it trumps others in Ceuta. It's a dilemma. I could get far better hotels there for less money but this place has things I need. What a dreadful choice.

This hotel is one of the worst I've stayed at. Do not book here; there are better options in Ceuta. Issues include: 1. False advertising about parking. 2. Dirty hallways. 3. Hot lobby. 4. Faulty faucet. 5. Broken room safe. 6. Outdated blow dryer. 7. Unhelpful front desk, no hotel receipt. 8. No restaurant or bar. 9. No "Do Not Disturb" sign. 10. First room was dirty and used; staff didn't believe us until shown. 11. Used water bottles in the new room, indicating poor cleaning. I would never recommend staying here.

As I walked into the lobby I wondered what the weird smell was that air fresheners were trying unsuccessfully to cover up. I registered and asked about breakfast. "The restaurant is closed". Not a word about its having burnt down. I eventually realised from reading the previous review in German that there had been a major fire and that the sprinkler system had failed. One whole wing of the hotel is closed off. It's extremely annoying that there was no notice given nor any rebate offered. Even worse, they only managed to get the Internet WiFi back up and running on the afternoon of my second day. I had spent a fortune both on roaming fees and in cafés that had WiFi. This is when the lack of even one English-language TV channel on the room became a real pain. The staff saved this review from one star. However, I can't say that I enjoyed my stay and would not book again for the foreseeable future. I'd advise others not to either.

Bit disappointing, looks like this was a glorious hotel in its day but has gone downhill a bit. Situated fairly centrally next to the pedestrian strip, it can be walked from the port in 10 minutes or so. Window and blackout curtain did an excellent job of keeping out light and street noise. My room was large, quite large but sort of empty-ish. Huge bed. The floor looked like very nice polished dark wood, but the room did lack some light. Storage space was fine (wardrobe was a weird no-door design.) Bathroom was aging, some of the fittings coming off the wall. Only one small white light in the bathroom, very dark…. Small minfridge which was not working. Wifi worked fine. There was a medium-sized flatscreen, could find only Spanish channels. Was not possible to access HDMI input. Breakfast was OK, fairly average.

Just about warrants being number 1 rated hotel in Ceuta. Rooms are tidy and well laid out, bathroom nice enough with free toiletries Location is central (as with most hotels in Ceuta) Reasonable selection of food for breakfast Small bar within reception Was upgraded to a nicer room on this visit which did help Just something lacking - not sure what it is I guess if you want a corporate style business hotel then this is the one

Right from being greeted by the efficient reception staff to the amazing bar lady who went the extra mile for me, I knew that this was going to be a good stay. Although the staff all spoke good English, they indulged my poor Spanish and complimented me on how good it was. They couldn't be faulted at all. The hotel itself is bright, clean and welcoming. I particularly loved the lifts with their view of the lobby and floors as they went up and down. The room was a little larger than you'd get in a business hotel with ample space for luggage and a spacious bathroom. It was spotlessly clean. One doesn't travel to watch TV, but one English channel would have been welcome. That's my sole gripe but its nowhere near enough to drop a star from the rating. Free WiFi compensated for the TV. Breakfast is extra but it was worth it. A buffet with a large selection of cheeses and meats plus the usual jam, honey and croissants etc. These latter were very good quality. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and would stay there again.

He ido a este hotel con el Imserso, y es de los mejores hoteles que he estado, el hotel es impresionante, los empleados todos muy amables, y la comida extraordinaria, volvería otra vez a este hotel, esta en el mismo centro se puede ir a muchos sitios andando, la calle es muy tranquila esta cerca de la catedral, el ayuntamiento, el mercado central , parada de taxis, y también cerca de muchos autobuses para conocer la ciudad
