Excellent hotel in the heart of Jakarta with lovely rooms at an amazing price

Hotel decorations are nice, good location, have many nice cafe around,but unfortunately the rest room is a little bit small, and the wifi is so bad, I can not connect to it all night.

Small but well maintained facility. Couldn’t find hair dryer though.

Its so clean, love the idea and concept of the residence! Strategic area, walking distance to a few numbers of resto and marts. The only thing is the mosquitoes. Appreciate if you guys can do something about. Its TOO many ☹️ LOVED THE ROOFTOP! Husband & i enjoyed our stay! Thank you for the great hospitality.

Will recommend this hotel! Located at central Jakarta with great facilities nearby. It’s clean and worth the money. Downside is currently the neighbour is renovating the place and it can be noisy during morning to late afternoon

The room given initially had several problems such as no hot water, toilet was flooded after showering. However, upon surfacing the problem to the front desk staff. They changed the room promptly.

Please upgrade your security for guest cars. Otherwise it's a good hotel.

For oversea travellers who looking for a much quieter or small boutique hotel in Jakarta, this could be a good option. Located very near to the Cikini Station, which is one stop away from the airport railway’s last station at Manggarai. Very pleasant interior with lots of plants and trees around. There’s also a fish pond at the ground floor beside the lobby with lots of seat to chill. There’s also outdoor seating area on my room level for smoking or gathering purposes. I gotten my room on the highest level which is actually the 4th floor. My room is spacious enough to move around. Equipped with safe, refrigerator and smart TV. There are some of the experiences I encountered from my room that need to take note of are the air-conditioning and shower area. It takes awhile for the air-conditioning to cool the room completely, and it required to set the temperature to the lowest with highest speed. But it still not strong enough and I could feel warm at night under the bedsheet. As for the shower room, the floor could easily flooded as you shower. It needs some time for the water to clear completely.

This accomodation is very recommended. The room is very good, simple design and clean. The check in process is veru fast too. For me, the best feature is every room has refrigerator. For a 3 star hotel, i think Daun Residence Menteng is one of the best accomodation in Jakarta.

Just curious about this place and find the affordable rate in the internet when entered the room, this place was beyond my expectation, i love the room ambiance and just want to lay on the bed for my entire stay. you can find easy coffee shop near by and even close to the street food at Cikini area. i decided to extend my stay period cause simply feel cozy and homey , I would recommend this place if you want to have the short getaway.

I like to read full reviews when traveling, so I hope my (long) review helps other travelers. Location: Central but at the same time away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Exactly in front of the Antique Market, very close to Cikini Station. The location is good for walking around looking for food around the hotel, lots of trees, the vibe of the location is really "old money" Menteng. Facility: Lots of space for sitting or reading, there is a small rooftop on the top floor (there are floors 1, 2, 3 and 5). There is an elevator so if you bring your elderly parents or lots of stuff, you can still stay here. Pantry is available, even though there is no stove but there is a microwave and water dispenser. If you want to brew pop mie noodles, you can, if you want to fill a water bottle, you can too. There is a small table (like a bar) enough for 1 person in the pantry. Each floor has a pantry, so there's no need to fight over it. Each room gets 2 bowls, 2 plates, 2 sets of cutlery, 2 glasses. You get 2 bottled water every day. Room: All rooms are non-smoking rooms. The deluxe room faces a grey wall, but it's not edged to the wall, there are windows that can be opened and you can still get natural light. Fake window, yes, but I'm okay with the deluxe room, there are lots of cheap hotels that don't even have windows at all. The suite room has a view if you prefer, but suite rooms aren't on Agoda, you have to book it via Traveloka or something else. The interior of the room is comfortable, there is a large TV, Netflix ready (account owned by the hotel). I read some reviews complain about the internet speed, maybe now they have changed the provider because when I was here I used the internet to work and it worked great. The best feature is definitely a 2-door refrigerator and it actually works!! Ice cream doesn't melt, fruit can stay fresh. The work table is a bit high but you can work around it to make it more ergonomic (chairs can be covered with clothes or towels so that the sitting position is also higher). The room is small, as expected from Central Jakarta, but comfortable for the two of us. The room is small but compact, lots of space that can be used to put things, so it doesn't feel cramped. AC works well, not too hot / cold. As for the noise/sound problem from outside, it can still be tolerated, you can only hear it when the room neighbors open/close the door or just chat in the hallway. Most of the guests are young professionals, I haven't found small children running around noisy in the hallways. Bathroom: It's small but still ok. During my stay, I didn't get hot water, the water just wasn't cold. The water pressure changes frequently, it takes time to get used to it. The bathroom wall is 10% transparent, like frosted glass, it's a bit awkward when you're taking a shower. Staff Services: The female receptionist who is on duty during the day is very friendly and ready to help. Housekeeping can be improved again, because the garbage
