S-E Hotel and Residence

Convenient location if you’re looking to go to Boracay Island and just need a place to stay. My room was covered with ants, had no hot water and had stained bedding. Definitely wouldn’t stay again. On the plus side, the had a restaurant that has a lovely view of the sea.

Great location and right at the end of the runway where you can see planes landing and taking off and very short distance. Check in process was fine and we expect a very basic room for the price paid and it was the only hotel available but when we entered the room, there was an infestation of ants. We notified housekeeping who did attend to the issue right away while we went outside to Kam’s restaurant which was so cool and awesome with great views on the beach of the sunset. Food was decent and nearly half the price of the island and double the portions. The biggest disappoin**ent was that we paid for breakfast which was to be served from 6am and we had to leave for the airport (5 minute walk away) at 7am. I notified the waitresses who took my order the night before. When I woke up at 6 and went down to the restaurant expecting the food to be ready, they hadn’t even begun cooking it and proceeded to take my order again. I waited 15 minutes but still not served so when I chased them they still had not even started cooking so I just asked for coffee to which they said it was the 3-1 satchet so I thought fine, it’ll take a minute and I can take the coffee to my room whilst we get ready. Waited another 10 minutes and still no rush to make it and didn’t not understand my own urgency so I told them to bring to the room which they eventually did. It was also annoying that they didn’t even have another customer in the restaurant so there was no reason why the food was not ready or even cooked on time.

The hotel is clean and has a good restaurant nearby. 50 pesos from the airport of caticlan

We reserved for 3 rooms for 13pax: 1 family room (Php 5100), 1 deluxe room (Php2100) and 1 standard room (Php2000). Upon check-in we were told that the family room was occupied and only 3 standard room were available. 😔 we had no choice but to squeeze in those 3 small rooms. We were offered to have free breakfast but we did not accept since our flight to Mla is very early the following day. We paid total of Php9200+ but we were refunded Php1500 only. Very bad experience 😔

The hotel is extremely close to Caticlan airport runway and also maybe 500m from the ferry port . We were on a motorcycle tour and it's not possible to take motorcycles on to Boracay, so we booked a room here and left extra gear in the room and parked the motorcycles safely around the back of the hotel. Worked out perfectly for our needs .

Very convenient to the airport. Just a walking distance .if you have an early flight. This hotel is the place to stay for an overnight stay. Close to the seashore and very relaxing. nice view Recommended. For overnight stay only
