Thanks to Willie and Chipperkyle paradise. A place where you feel like taking your camera out to immortalize your memories. calm, quiet, beautiful. I had the chance to be there when it blossoms, when the birds wake up. The house is not perfect… which makes it perfect. Because it’s not a superficial-looking b&b, it’s a place that has history, these walls have a life, have seen… Now the host, cause that’s also a highlight of the place: Willie, with his impressive life, and incredible care he takes of the whole property with so much energy and love. Was a wow-journey to Chipperkyle. Thanks again.

Welcomed by host, who was very friendly and polite. We found the room very pleasant clean and well furnished. Beds very comfortable with electric blankets. and views of the rolling countryside. Homecooked meals using local produce were delicious and very well presented by the host. Would certainly visit again. All In all a relaxing stay at this very interesting country house.

A truly wonderful home with an intriguing family history - the stories are fascinating! We were well looked after by the host, Willie, he is a lovely chap and really quite knowledgeable about the local area. We would not hesitate to recommend this fabulous find!
