The hosts, a husband and wife team, are lovely and very hospitable. They are multilingual (fluent in German) and are both hands-on, providing the personal touch that makes one feel at home. I was most impressed by the breakfast particularly the homemade butter, yoghurt and bread which was often still warm as it was freshly baked. The location is ideal and the room was comfortable. I had a private patio with a view which I really enjoyed. Overall, I had a lovely stay and highly recommend Bayflowers Guest House.

Very good guesthouse in a nice and safe area. Friendly owners with helpful tips on what to do in Capetown and surroundings. Excellent breakfast too! Rooms are clean and comfortable and the lobby and garden are very nice. I would visit again and can highly recommend.

Wonderfully located in a quiet residential street but close to V&A Waterfront Rooms super clean with good facilities. Beds very comfortable, we slept so well. Shower perfect with plenty of toiletries, fluffy towels etc. A terrace and sun loungers topped it off! Beautiful small but perfectly formed garden with pool was a bonus, a leafy quiet place to relax. Communal spaces were beautifully furnished and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Homemade jam, butter , yoghurt. Cake and hot food offered everyday. It was a treat to stay here, we so enjoyed meeting our hosts and we would love to return

We had 5 wonderful days with hosts Jeanne and Michael at guesthouse Bayflowers in Cape Town. It is an ideal location as a starting point for the many sights in this beautiful city. Partly due to the fine and warm hospitality of our hosts, now our stay was one to remember. They serve a delicious breakfast!

Peaceful location & excellent hosting. Spacious clean rooms with terraces. Great breakfast with home made dairy products (butter, yoghurt etc), freshly baked bread and pasteries. Walking distance to the waterfront. Otherwise Uber is an alternative, cheap and safe. Welcoming host couple!

Lovely property with lovely hosts. When I got food poisoning, they bent over backwards to give me say use of the room when we were meant to be checking out. Grounds and rooms light, airy and spotlessly clean. Only con was no air conditioning- which was my fault for not checking before booking.

Hostpitality was great very friendly ,de breakfast was very good . De bed sleep very good . We get a lot of information about capetown .Thear is a lot of parking space indrong the Guest house. You need a car of Uber .

The staff is very helpfull to give any suggestion for your stayng in Cape Town and around. Fantastic breakfast with homemade foodstuff. The area is quiet and parking close to the guesthouse are always available. The owner is investing to make the guiesthouse sustainable as much as possible. Rooms are very clean, but not so big.

Perfect B&B for a Cape Town visit! We are a family of 4 (kids 11 and 14) and walking from V&A Waterfront to the B&B in the late evening when dark was no problem, very safe neighbourhood!! Very warm welcome by the owners, it felt immediately like if we were family! They gave us the best tips for evening diner and boat trip, it was amazing! They helped us with our trip the day after, thanks to them we felt the warmth of SA immediately. Our next stay in SA is in this guesthouse again. Breakfast is éxcellent and só good with kids! Big recommandation!
