We spent our one night stay at Head South Lodge.The room was spacious with lovely extras as coffee, tea, milk , sugar.Stunning big bed with softest bedding.Nice pillows to dream away on.Comfy couch where we sat watching TV shortly before having a lovely shower.Enough shampoo, conditioner and lotion.We felt so spoilt as the fragrance of the lotion and hand wash was so lovely.The breakfast was delicious with fresh baked rolls and top of the range coffee!!We thoroughly enjoyed drinking wine outside watching the sun set!Enjoyed every moment we were at the Lodge.We want to return soon.

Very comfortable stay in a perfect positioned place. Professional staff created very warm and pleasant atmosphere. Very good value for money ratio.

Everything was absolutely wonderful at Head South Lodge. It is spotless with comfortable and stylish bedrooms and very comfortable beds. It is decorated beautifully, a really characterful boutique hotel. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Location is great for getting into the city and V&A Waterfront is walkable in about half hour, and it's easily accessible to everywhere else you might want to visit either by car or Uber. We would definitely return to Head South Lodge.

Beautiful spot, utmost cleanliness,great breakfast. the best feature were the Staff- SO friendly and helpful and kind .Excellent location .Room was super spacious and very comfy beds. Will def be coming back !!

We are very happy with our stay at the Head South Lodge. it is not far to the coastline. Everything was fine, everybody there was very nice and helpful and they make a lovely breakfast. In the evening we went by uber or taxi to the waterfront or City.

This is Head South Lodge: when we left after a 14-day stay, the staff came over to hug us goodbye. This intimate, 20-room lodge is warm and welcoming, the owner is on site daily, chatting with the guests, and you feel as if it's your home away from home. Our room was sunny, large, and well appointed, with an expansive balcony, and the lodge is close to the Waterfront and great shops. They have 24/7 security out front who rush over to open the gate and welcome you in. The daily breakfast from 7:30 to 10:00 am is freshly made (you'll love the huge bowl of fruit salad with yogurt and muesli!) with all kinds of breads and rolls, a cheese board, a coffee machine for the yummiest "flat white coffee" (latte), eggs and mushrooms, and other surprises. Special shoutout to the owner Jeff and the fantastic staff including Teddy, Pia, Jade, Monde, Jimmy, and the wonderful Victoria. When we return to Cape Town, we are 100% staying here again. Love, love, love Head South Lodge!

The cleanliness and breakfasts were top notch ! Our room was $200 CAD a night, didn’t free include drinking water and our view was of the other rooms (so we couldn’t keep our curtains open). The location is great for walking to the boardwalk (less than 5 minutes) but in terms of restaurants and hiking, shops, you’d most likely drive. There is 24/7 security which is good and seems standard in the area. I’d compare the lodge to more of a hostel than a hotel, as it’s more ‘help yourself’ mentality, but without the social aspect of hostels.

The staff were both professional and kind. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. The breakfasts were well done and I loved that we were able to serve ourselves drinks and snacks on the honor system.

Location was very good for walking to the VA area and getting Ubers for other trips. The staff was outstandingly kind and helpful.
