Seashell Suites and Villas- Candolim Goa

We visited this hotel for 5 days in February of 2023 with two adults and one 7 year old. We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa near the pool. The hotel and rooms are beautiful, the staff are extremely attentive and kind, and the food was delicious. They even made my son his own cake on two separate occasions. We spoke to the management and owners at breakfast most days, and they are wonderful. We could not recommend this hotel enough and hope to return in the future..Thank you for the perfect vacation!

Has been one of the most amazing stays we’ve had. The staff has been unbelievable. They are the sweetest and most courteous. The rooms are huge and homely. The resort is unbelievably good. The food is just so good and the owners personally interact with all guests. Loved every bit of this stay. Best wishes to all.

We visited with a large family and two kids of different ages. We were pleasantly surprised by the hospitality, energy and promptness shown to us by each and every member of the staff, right from the doorkeepers to Aasha in the reception, the Chef, cleaning staff and the restaurant staff. Omkar and Sandesh in the restaurant would greet us and tend to our family every day in the morning buffet service and make sure their staff serves us everything as per our customisation. The rooms are a highlight of the property. They are bright, clean and extremely large and spacious. Plus they come with a balcony. They are well equipped with all the necessary kit (toiletries, tea coffee sachets, electric kettle, plenty of towels, tissue paper dispensers and rolls). Also they have two TVs in the room with two separate TV units, which I have never seen in any hotel room. There is a also a separate spacious seating area next to the bed. The standards maintained are at par with star properties costing 4-5 times as much as this room easily. The buffet spread was adequate but most importantly, every item on the menu was well-made with attention to taste and guest requirement. There are three swimming pools in the property which are open from morning to 7pm. The large one is best for family groups. The beach is a ten minute walk from the hotel, through a small market. The doorkeeper will provide you with XL-sized umbrellas om request. Also near the restaurant are many good restaurants offering a lively atmosphere for dinner. The hotel also has a game room for kids with chess, ludo, carrom, etc but we did not try it out. The owner of the property, Mr Shelly Gonzalves, a senior and well-respected businessman, visits daily and interacts with the guests himself. His passion is visible in the way he speaks to the guest and his angels (he hates referring to his employees as staff). It is clear that he has been working patiently towards the happiness and well-being of the staff for a long time because the staff supports and diligently follows the values and protocols that he has instilled into them for successfully running the hotel. For them, the guest is as important to them as they themselves are to the owner. In summary, this been a memorable stay in a hotel with standards equal to, and many times surpassing star properties costing 5 times the price of equally equipped rooms. What it maybe lacks in expanse, it makes up in attention to detail, hospitality and promptness. Wishing all the staff good luck and best wishes for the future

This place is amazing, if you're looking for your next villa or even hotel in Goa then Seashell villas in Candolim is the place to book. All the staff were super amazing and really helpful from front of desk, all the way to even the chef in the restaurant. The chef would personally greet you to recommend food. The rooms/villas were also really clean. The food was really good. It has a good choice on Indian breakfast items ***** with your traditional continental breakfast. Very impressived.

This is a fantastic place to stay in Candolim Goa, the beach is right across walkable distance, lots of restaurants around, very near to the Mario gallery, Calungute market, the staff here is fantastic, very well trained and among best customer experience I had. The owners or the director makes sure to see you every morning during the breakfast to make sure everything is fine.. staff across from front desk, restaurant, cleaning staff, security all are good.. the food is good.. spacious rooms.. they got me a cake on birthday and celebrated with their entire staff, I was separately provided a complimentary cake by the director for staying 4 nights.. a must stay and highly recommend

We had a lovely time at the resort. It's right on the main road in Candolim and a 5 min walk from the beach. From the front, you can only see a plain building, but that hides all the luxury inside. The rooms in the main building are massive but the real treasure are the villas clustered around pools. Each 3 bedroom villa feels like a house and is very well furnished. Considering there are 3 swimming pools, it can feel like a private pool if you go at the right time. The food is delicious but if you feel like eating something else, there are scores of restaurants in the area, all of whom deliver. The owner, Mr. Shelly, lives right across the street, and personally goes to each table at breakfast, checking about everything. This really makes a difference. Shout out to Mr. Jeevan who gave us a great deal on a villa. It was a lovely stay and we will highly recommend it.

The Hospitality was amazing from this Hotel. Even the owner of the property personally take care about their guest's wellbeing and comfort stay. Walking distance from Beautiful Candolim beach. Breakfast spread was very attractive and delicious.Over all a must recommend property.

We had the pleasure of staying at Seashell, in Candolim, in June 2024. From the caring, attentive and top notch staff, to the amazing breakfasts and food, to the clean, beautiful and well appointed premises and the dedicated owners and management team, Seashell is second to none as the place of choice for your next vacation. We arrived late at night and were greeted with incredible warmth by their ever attentive front desk team and shown to the most beautiful junior suite with no delay, making sure we had everything we needed and were comfortable. Mr. Shelly Gonsalves, the owner of Seashell, and his son Royston, visit the hotel everyday at breakfast time, greeting the guests, making sure they’re welcomed, are enjoying their stay, and listening to any advice on improvements they might make. They are genuinely lovely people, humble, smart and wanting you to feel like you’re at your own home. It heartening to see the deep respect and affection Mr. Shelly holds for his staff and they for him. Chef Nitin, is second to none. His talent is on display every day with delicious breakfasts, ranging from Indian foods and traditional Goan options to continental choices and everything in between. We enjoyed every single meal we had there, made all the more enjoyable with visits and attention from Chef Nitin and the amazing restaurant team, including Sandesh, Uttam, Onkar, Kim, Samte and so many more. The front desk team including the ever smiling Jivan, Asha, Maya, Teresa, Mario, Moitam and Anil, and Sonia at reservations, this team envelops you with kindness and attention, making you feel like family and attending to your every need, from providing advice on travel and shopping, to making sure your stay is the best possible. From the kind gentlemen who greet you at the entrance to the hotel and bring your luggage in, to the warm and friendly front desk team, to the dedicated and efficient hospitality staff, the incredible Chef and kitchen staff, to those who manage the beautiful gardens, to those who keep your rooms clean and comfortable and the amazing Gonsalves family, this team is incredible, caring, competitive and top notch and will be the highlight of your stay in the most luxurious of surroundings! This place deserves all the stars and awards for its hospitality, delicious food, premises, rooms, and most of all, their incredible staff! Seashell is an oasis of peace, calm, caring and positive energy, replenishing your energy and joie de vivre for the time you are with them and sending you off with the warmest memories and appreciation for kind and caring people and hosts!
