I absolutely had a wonderful time on my vacation. The building and grounds are beautiful and the artwork is exquisite. I enjoyed both Katia's warm smile and generosity as well as the other woman who speaks english, but I didn't catch her name. I really loved speaking with her as she has a very strong and kind spirit. I noticed throughout my stay that there is 24hr security on site as I get up randomly throughout the night. When the AC stopped working in my room I was offered a different room with working AC, but I was comfortable in my suite and the night air was good enough to keep me cool until the next morning when they fixed it. I felt very welcomed, safe, and appreciated. They get 5 stars from me.

The property is very old with old furniture. Didn’t know where to go to get beach towels. We never had hot water during the entire stay. Food was ok. It’s in a good location.

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. The working staff is very nice. I ate 3 times there. Breakfast and fish for lunch and dinner was wonderful. Getting my relax on could not have been accomplished at a better place. I also shopped for food and gifts at the mall the very close. Great place!

the staff is very friendly the property needs to be taken care better.
My wife and I slept in a horrible mattress for 4days! and the pillows
are not the best And we know they can do better, ahh counting that I got stock
in the elevator! for almost one hour
ringing the alarm, yelling my wife came for my help because I didn’t show up
and call my brother and he runs for help
an a security staff and others open the elevator it was very hot and humid.
at least was me not my wife or my brother who suffered from claustrophobia they could have a heart attack!

Good value for Cancun beach hotel. Slightly dated but clean and everything worked. Good on-site restaurant, excellent beach access.

Beautiful, grand, older seeming hotel with lovely art and vistas. Our suite-like room was palatially large. Excellent views, nice art on the walls. Some parts of the hotel were no longer working such as either indoor or outdoor bathtubs. Large pool with beach access and lounge chairs, beautiful blue water right nearby. Friendly, helpful staff. Beds are hard, but comfortable enough for me. AC worked well. Main issue was a draft from outside kept making our door rattle and bang even though it was closed. Woke me up several times, but it was very windy that night. We'd stay here again nonetheless.

This place is definitely past its prime, but the property has some charm and is on the beach. It is loud, the rooms we stayed in weren’t in great condition and the front desk staff were pretty bad. Pretty disappointing.
