Tent Palmanova

This hotel really is excellent. Pros: Quant bit adequate rooms that cater well for two people -cleaned daily Excellent shower Excellent hair dryer Hard working and friendly team for the most part, from my experience. Excellent breakfast buffet that is replenished regularly Nice pool, cleaned regularly Con: I feel the pool view isn't really worth the extra money At check in, I wasn't made aware that the air conditioning had not been switched on yet, (as the temperatures were not hot enough). The receptionist didn't inform me of this, and I turned the air con to the cold setting while we went out for dinner. I came back to a roasting hot room! I had to leave our balcony door open to cool the room somewhat and subsequently had mosquito bites to contend with. I rang reception and then I was told the cool setting doesn't work-only the hot setting on the lowest temperature. I queried this upon checking out, and I'm glad I did. This is the norm in all hotels in Majorca before the weather becomes hot enough for aircon. It's only something small, but I would recommend that you inform people upon check in so they can be aware. Otherwise, everything was super. A lovely, relaxed hotel, with super food options for unlimited brunch. I would come back. Finally....a super helpful tip I learned from another trip advisor review, is that you can take the A11 bus from the airport. If you are travelling with more than one, use the same card to tap for all passengers, and you get a discount. Important note though, you must hit the stop button for the bus to stop, standing beside the bus driver isn't enough. Get off at the first stop after McDonalds. Also, you lust tap your card again for every passenger when you get off the bus.

Booked for 5 nights and asked for a quiet room. We were on 6th floor with a pool view. Was a quiet room you do hear doors banging in the morning though when people are going to breakfast. Room was fine 2 single beds pushed together decent balcony, shower room and tv (English channels), only about 10 coat hangers but fine for us as only stayed for 5 nights. Could do with a mini fridge for bottle of water / drinks and tea making facilities. Breakfast was great served 8-1330. This included hot food like bacon, eggs, sausage, beans, mushrooms, tomato, hash browns, wedges, potatoes, cold ham and cheese, salad, fruit , cereal, bread , toastie machine, teas , coffees and juice. Always enough sun beds. Perfect location to the beach 2 minute walk. Would return!

All in all the stay was excellent,cleanliness excellent, brunch excellent although maybe a slight change in menu after 11.30 would be nice. Rooms are rather small but adequate the room service daily hotel spotless, a small fridge I the room would be nice just to store cool drinks.we arrived at 12.40 self check in staff available to help if your not sure only negative we had was we were told we couldn't use the brunch facilities that day as room check I was officially 3pm thought this was rather petty as on our departure date we were leaving at 6.40am and could only have a drink and biscuit,but overall would definitely recommend Tents also great location.

Just got back from a 6 night stay at this hotel. The hotel was clean with a good sized balcony, amazing breakfasts served til 1:30pm and plenty of sun loungers at all times. The location was amazing with only a 2/3 minute walk to the beach and an array of bars and restaurants. For the price, it was an amazing hotel. There were a few negatives which were fine for us as a couple in their 20s, but could be an issue for others. When we arrived we went to reception to check in and were told that the only way to check in is for us to do it ourselves on the machines. I entered the details, scanned in the passports etc and an error came up, I did this again to no avail and made the woman aware. She asked my partner to try with their details and there was an error on theirs also. She created a new reference and asked us to try again. After 30 minutes and having to keep asking for help from the lady who was reluctant to help, we finally managed (no wonder we couldn't do it as she mentioned that they had to change all our details). We were now checked in and asked for a room key to be told we had to download app and create an account as the keys were stored on the app. By the time we got on to WiFi, downloaded app and tried to create profile we were getting sick of it and just wanted to be out in the sun. I tried 4 times to create account and couldn't because my info had been changed. My partner finally managed to get in and get a key which ment I couldn't go anywhere without them for the full 6 days as my account didn't work for my key. Not ideal but at least we were in because again reception just didn't seem too eager to assist. As much as a phone key may seem like a good idea it could take 5/6 goes to work each time. We had a number of occasions where event reps approached us by the pool and tried to sell us events. Some were more pushy than others and on the first day we had been out by the pool only 20 mins and a girl came over, sat on my bed where I was half asleep, woke us up and kept trying to sell us tickets to a boat party. We said no thanks but she just wouldn't leave until 15 mins and 5 no thank yous. This happened a few times when we were lounging by the pool trying to relax. 2 days before we left a large stag do of around 30 arrived. They were loud and were blaring music by the pool. Not only this but there was banging on our doors at all hours as they couldn't remember where their rooms were. This happened at all hours from 4 pm in afternoon til just before 5 in the morning. No other real issues other than perhaps the size of the room. As there aren't any drawers, vanities or wardrobes we couldn't unpack ( there is a small rail with approx 10 hangers but would only really be enough room for 2/3 days). I think a set of drawers for socks, bikinis, under where etc would be essential. All in all a good hotel and would be back for the price as the positives outweighed the negatives for us.

I’m just back from a 5 night stay at the hotel and could not fault anything, I highly recommend this hotel to others. The staff were very friendly, and the guy who worked behind the pool bar was lovely. The hotel was very clean, towels were changed and room cleaned daily. The food was great, and they served right up until 1.30 and could go in as many times as you wanted. There was a toastie machine so I made a toastie for my lunch everyday which I was happy about. There was also a vending machine which was well stocked and could buy sandwiches etc from if you were hungry when you got back at night. I read some comments about noise at night, don’t be put off by this, I was on the 7th floor and it was very quiet. I even slept with my balcony door open some nights and no noise at all. Plenty of sun loungers and there wasn’t folk rushing down to reserve them which was great. Pool area was also very nice and the lifeguard was always going about keeping the area tidy from rubbish. I would definitely return to this hotel again.

It was a lovely hotel rooms were beautiful and spacious, plenty of choice in buffet breakfast to suit everyone it closes at 1pm, you can go up as many times as you like. so wee ate a small portion then went back in at 12 and chose something else, pool was nice, and only a few minutes from beach, children’s play area, shops,bars, bus stops and restaurants all on the doorstep.

what a fantastic hotel staff are very friendly and welcoming highly recommended i will be back again in a few months very clean food was amazing. Staff was so so helpful what ever you needed they would help with. Swimming pool is kept very clean and surrounding areas The rooms are very spacious and clean I do love the theme which are tents . The food was amazing to catered for everyone needs. The gym was very clean and very handy to have. There is a laundry room which is great to have especially if your there for a few weeks.

had a great time at this hotel, we visit Palma Nova 3/4 times a year and this was our first stay at this hotel. the hotel was clean and the pool area was lovely with plenty of spare sunbeds. the buffet was of good standard and was plenty of choice. the room size is perfect for a short break i think any longer would be a bit of a struggle. just a 2 minute walk to nearest bars, restaurants and beaches all in all a great stay and would definitely stay again.

Our second visit, check in is after 2pm but luggage room is available. Digital check in is a bit of a chew on, Tent app on mobile becomes your key, we asked for key card and was nt a problem, rooms are small, you get 12 coat hangers, no drawers or storage. Showel gel n hair dryer are provided. You honestly can't fault brunch, you can go in as many times as you want, so tea,coffee and juices are free all morning. Hotel is in a fab location. Few stag n Hens on week end but no noise at all. The staff are absolutely amazing are deserve a mention. We got what we signed up to good basic accommodation at a great price...yes we ll be back...couple aged 60 xxx
