TH Gioiosa Mare - Capo Calavà Village

The hotel is nice located. But some rooms (we had 276) are in 300 m steeply hill. So nothing for old and ill people. Rooms are older, especially the bathroom need to be renovated. We have nice view to see but not all rooms have it. The see is really beautiful, beach is clean and enough umbrellas and layers there. Food was delicious. Personel fine but mostly for italien. They cannot another language mostly.

This is not a calm and quiet Holiday. It's full of fun,culture, music, musicals, theatre and sport and competitions. All of this only if you want to. You can just lay on a beach and listen to music. The hotel is situated in a hotel village. There is no place to go, no place to shop, there are no local people, no strangers who live nearby. But all day long you are not bored! The crew prepared a full programe. The ROOMS are cleaned every day. The FOOD Is very good, sicilian: seafood, pasta, vegetables, pizza, sandwich. In all inclusive, you can have delicious coffee and non alcoholic drinks all day long. From 12:00 vine and beer, aperitives, Amaro, limoncelo...Evening coctails. There is a bar also on a beach! My boyfriend loves meat, which was not every day and if it was, there was only one kind. But it's the way Sicilian people eat!:) The SEA was absolutely perfect. One of the best beaches I have seen! Absolutely clean water. The crew was kind, funny and full od energy. They inform you about the program. And you can see every information in an application (at the reception they give you the instrutions how to upload) I really recomend this Holiday!! Especially many thanks to Giulia and her morning exercises on a beach! And to maestro Fabrizio! I listened his soft music he played every evening on terrazza while I was drinking coctails and enjoying the most romantic sunset I have ever seen! And the musical Romeo and Juietta? Just wow, wow, wow! I cried in a plane while comming back from this Holiday, I didn't want to ho home! :D A really recomend this hotel village. Good for children, adults and also for seniors. Yes, there are some stairs in the area, but I havent seen people having problems. And the Italians are heart opened, kind and friendly, as usual!

Animation programmes are way too loud! They scream till 1 am every night. Breakfasts dont contain vegetables. There is no wifi in the rooms which are further from reception Everything else was nice, but the noice every night is terrible.

All crew is just excellent! So kind, so happy, so helpful people everywhere. Thank you very much and many thank to everybody. Maybe focus on cleanliness of rooms - we were there with 2 small kids and i will appreciate for example clean towels and clean sheets more often.

The stay at this resort was great. Lots of animation programs for both children and adults. The menu at the bar was sufficient. The food was really amazing. Italian specialties, fine dining, I really have never encountered such a luxurious offer in a hotel restaurant. Breakfast, on the other hand, was very modest and the same every day. The beach is totally unsuitable for people with limited mobility, it was very difficult to get into the sea and then climb back to the beach. We had big waves most of the stay which was great. The sea calmed down on the last day, but unfortunately jellyfish appeared and burned our daughter. Upon our arrival we were given a room that absolutely did not meet our requirements. It was not tidy, there was a tiny window and no terrace or balcony. Our children did not fit on the bunk bed. It took two days to get an adequate room. After that, everything was fine. It would be better to add more English language to your program? Italian is beautiful, but there are also guests in the hotel who do not speak Italian. And I believe that it would be very beneficial for all of us and we would enjoy our vacation as much as possible.

Nice stay at this hotel. Clean beach with rock. Food was very good. But unfortunately not every offered dish had description in English. Hotel is located in the village. So if you would like to see something, you have to book a trip. Because expect the hotel in this village is nothing. I recomend this location for people who like to swim and stay on the beach.

Confermo tutte le recensioni positive ed anche quelle che affermano che il Resort avrebbe bisogno di essere ristrutturato sia nelle aree esterne, che interne (soprattutto i bagni). Però la location, il mare, il paesaggio, il personale e l'animazione hanno davvero reso speciale il nostro soggiorno. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo: cibo di qualità e variegato. Letti comodissimi. Tramonti mozzafiato. Qualche consiglio per il soggiorno: - la spiaggia è composta da sassolini, quindi meglio portare le scarpe da scoglio - è un Villaggio frequentato da famiglie, per cui molto caotico. Se siete in coppia e volete comunque andarci (perchè il mare è davvero, davvero, davvero SPLENDIDO) allora provatelo a giugno o a settembre, quando le scuole sono ancora aperte e non rischiate l'invasione dei ragazzini (e quindi la confusione vera) - Il mare diventa subito profondo, ma basta fare un pò di attenzione - Noi alloggiavamo in una delle camere in alto, sopra la collinetta e ci siamo trovati benissimo: le consiglio per la splendida vista e perchè tirava una bell'arietta - C'è lo stendino, ma mancano le mollette per stendere - E' possibile noleggiare i teli da mare - Ci sono negozi per acquisti di "emergenza" (solari, infradito, creme...) - Ed infine.... La proposta culinaria è di altissimo livello: non è il posto adatto per chi sta a dieta (ahahahhaha) Torneremo sicuramente

Abbiamo soggiornato una settimana in questo villaggio e nel complesso è stata un'esperienza molto positiva. Il mare e il panorama sono meravigliosi, il cibo e il servizio eccellenti. Il direttore molto attento, presente e cordiale. Tutto lo staff dell'animazione solare e coinvolgente. Abbiamo fatto un'escursione in barca indimenticabile. Sicuramento lo consiglio perché la qualità è tanta. Gli unici consigli che mi sento di dare è di anticipare se possibile il check in, perché siamo arrivati alle 12.30 ma abbiamo aspettato ore per poter andare a riposare in camera e l'unico altro consiglio e' di coinvolgere di più i clienti in spettacoli magari come musical o altro, perché per esempio io amo cantare ma non mi è stata data la possibilità di poter partecipare a uno spettacolo perché sceglievano loro i pochi concorrenti. Capisco che è un villaggio che ospita molte persone ma magari proporre più serate alla settimana dove anche i clienti che lo desiderano possono buttarsi e cimentarsi in attività che magari nel quotidiano non hanno la possibilità di fare secondo me sarebbe ancora più bello.

La struttura è un po’ datata. Al Nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato le camere un po’ sporche ma alla nostra richiesta di ripassare le signore delle pulizie si sono mostrate disponibilissime. La struttura è un po’ datata ma ok. Il litorale è fatto di pietre, assolutamente sconsigliato per anziani o soggetti con difficoltà di deambulazione. Mare bellissimo, possibilità di visitare una piccola grotta nelle vicinanze. ANIMAZIONE TOP! Abbiamo beccato una settimana bruttina … se non ci fossero stati loro ci saremmo di certo annoiati e invece hanno rallegrato tutte le nostre giornate. Quindi grazie a Manuel, Alessio, Erika e soprattutto grazie al direttore del villaggio (Andrea). Formula All Inclusive perfetta per noi. RISTORAZIONE BUONA E VARIA, sono super organizzati per le intolleranze alimentari. 5 stelle meritate, non so se torneremo mai a Gioiosa Marea perché da siciliani preferiamo il litorale sabbioso ma la catena TH si è di certo conquistata la nostra fiducia.
