Apartamentos Vista Blanes

Great little appar**ent complex with well- equipped flats. The appar**ent was super clean. We had washing up liquid, a tea towel and even an iron. The beds were pretty new and the sheets and towels were changed twice in 7 nights. There's no A/C but there are ceiling fans and a free standing fan. The pool is gorgeous, with plenty of sunbeds and the use of inflatables and it is exactly as it looks in the photos. What a treat to not have a buffet breakfast and actually have waiter service with proper coffee, a good selection of cereals, cooked breakfast in any combination and tasty sandwiches. It's true vegans would struggle but that's probably true throughout Spain. Hard to fault off season. The staff were friendly and super helpful. Hard to believe it's just 2 stars. The local beach is 10 minutes away and has the choice of 3 cafes/restaurants. You can walk into Ciutadella in about 40 minutes and the local busstop will take you into town where you can change and go pretty much anywhere on the island

Hard to believe this hotel is 2 star rated. The apar**ents are a good size, spotlessly clean, the beds are relatively new and super comfortable and the kitchens are well equipped including a tea towel, washing up liquid and a scourer. There are kettles, an iron and even a broom. We had fresh towels and sheets twice in a 7 day stay. There isn't any aircon but there air paddle fans in the bedroom. The pool is huge, well-maintained and there are plenty of sunbeds. What a joy to have breakfast served by a friendly, helpful waiter. So very tired of endlessly disappointing buffets. You can have a full English every day if that's your thing, but they are happy to do any variation upon that theme and obviously there is cereal and toast and various baguettes, all with proper, fresh coffee and juice. The staff were all friendly and eager to help with information about the local area. Its very close to the local beach and 5 mins from 2 good local restaurants, Me Bep's and Impar and within a 20-30 minute walk of more local restaurants. I really can't fault it.

Ignore the negative reviews! I’m not sure what the ‘negs’ expected and feel they wanted a moon on stick! For me I’ve stayed in some dives…this was fab for the price and very relaxing holiday. Hotel was spotless! Staff were lovely - big shout out to the bar and restaurant staff…as on my own always happy for a little chat! I was half board and as many have said your order not a buffet…to me that makes sense I’ve seen the wastage in many all inclusive places!!! It also meant that everything I ate was fresh and hot! On some evenings I didn’t like the meal options but they understood (I’m a little fussy!) and made me something off the main ‘pay for menu’ at no extra charge and never went hungry…everything I ate was delicious! The pool was lovely - big, clean and plenty of sun loungers! Room was the standard Spanish hotel room…small kitchen area; kettle, fridge (very useful and with an ice box at top too) hob and microwave. There was even an iron and ironing board - but who irons on holiday 🙄 It does have a tv - but all local channels- but I still watch Spain has talent and was enjoyable! 😂 Bedroom had a ceiling fan and in the large wardrobe there was also a portable fan. My only negative comment is that you had to pay for drinks with evening meal yet allowed two drinks with breakfast - but reasonably priced but just wasn’t expecting that. Other tips : Sun loungers are plastic and have two adjus**ents. I find them a little uncomfortable (but a lilo or a pillow resolved that!) Supermarket just an 8 min walk and was great to have drinks during day especially with fridge in the room. This is not in the centre of town….which I love but I know some people like to go out - a British pub is my idea of hell!!! It is a good 20/25 min walk. The bus stop is yards from the hotel entrance and easy to use - they don’t take card so have change ready to make it easier - 1.70€ into Ciutadella- which if you are like me and don’t want a mini Benidorm is a must…cathedral, lovely little alleys and harbour and lots of shops and restaurants to chose from. If you’ve got this far into my review then my other tips for any holiday really is bring a reusable cup like you’d take to a coffee shop at home….I don’t like drinking out of paper cups by pool and they keep things cold too! I had so many comments, I just think it’s common sense! 🤷🏻‍♀️ Check out time is 11am - large luggage and shower areas if you have a later flight which again was clean and useful. There is also no entertainment at this hotel too - not an issue for me but just so you know! I have had a truly relaxing holiday…very happy and returning home refreshed! 🙌🏻 Weather was also beautiful but that is out of the hotel’s hands! ☀️☀️☀️

Rooms were clean and plenty towel changes asked for fresh bedding no prob. Our room was right beside the reception bit noisy especially 7.30am staff loud. All staff couldn’t do any more to help little one was always wounding but this wasn’t a prob friendly staff. Good food and cheap alcohol lacking in drinks for toddlers non fizzy drinks only had fresh juices but had lots of ice lollies which she was more than happy with. Po was clean plenty of sun beds pool had slope so gradually got deeper my little one loved this and played well. Pool was big and had splash bit too was deep tho showers there as well. Rooms had kettle toaster mic iron cleaning stuff extra bedding and fan in room was cooling. Was a 20 min walk to main part bars and restaurants shop was around the corner Jimmy hills was fab staff amazing was good hol value for money

Last n8ght here. Ignore the negative reviews. This is not 5 star luxury nor is it 5 star prices. It is a solid spotless 3 star self catering. Towels changed twice this week and bedding changed Ince. Perfect. No air con but celiling fan in bedroom keeps you perfectly cool. Nice firm beds, kitchen is a fridge, 2 rings and a microwave. Plenty of pots, pans frying pans cutlery to make breakfast, chilli, bolognese & fajitas. Lovely balcony with 2 chairs and a small coffee table. To sum up if your a typical Brit abroad who can't adapt then go elsewhere, if you enjoy relaxed surroundings, beautiful pool well appointed basic apar**ents with a very basic cafe on site and a bus stop on your door step oh and a lovely small beach 5 minutes walk then you will enjoy these as much as we did.

Stayed July 2021 but TripAdvisor didn't give that date option. Family of 4 stayed in a 1 bedroom apar**ent which wasn't ideal as the 2 children had to sleep on the sofa and a pull out mattress - if you're a family definitely book the 2 bedroom apar**ent. No Aircon so the rooms get very hot but the bedroom had a ceiling fan. The pool and surrounding areas are amazing!! The kids loved the pool!! The area around the pool is spacious so you're not lying side by side with strangers. Perfect location to walk along the coastal path to Cuitadella and also down to pirates cove beach, but more of a walk to walk into town. There is a small shop on site where you can get basics such as bread, water, drinks, cheeses, ham etc to make sandwiches, sweets and ice creams and things like goggles, toys etc for the pool. The restaurant on site was pricey we thought with the food not being that good so we always walked into town each night for our meals. No entertainment so again we found this in town. We didn't see a rep all holiday, but didn't need one. Safes in the room for a charge, tourist tax is payable per person per night at reception when you check in. Our sheets and towels weren't changed very often and the floors in the room weren't cleaned that great, we had 2 birthdays while we stayed here and asked for help in getting a couple of birthday cakes but staff weren't to helpful with that so couldn't find a birthday cake, but all in all we had a lovely holiday here and would return.

Be Advised: These "apar**ents" do not have air conditioning! If your stay is during the sunny months, you will be sweating in your room and the only escape from the heat on the property will be the pool. I was BARELY able to sleep sweat free at night, after venting the room and sleeping right under the fan and on top of the sheets, naked. The rooms are otherwise clean and functional but are spartan and have been ridden hard and put away wet. The only thing supplied that is not "nailed down" are bath towels. There is no soap or shampoo, for example. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. And the restaurant/bar has good food and drink. However, due to the AC situation, at least in the summer, I will not stay here again. Know before you go.

My Family and I have stayed at the Apartamentos Vista Blanes 3 times now. Each time we have enjoyed a lovely holiday. We stayed in a two bedroom apar**ent which offered bags of space, with two large bedrooms and two bathrooms. Yes, the decor is somewhat dated however the apar**ent was clean, tidy and comfortable. Our room was cleaned twice during the week that we stayed there and fresh towels were provided each time. There is no air con however the ceiling fans were adequate and I did not feel uncomfortable during the night. The pool and bar area are extremely well kept, the pool is wonderful and the whole complex appears to be very well looked after. Cala en Blanes beach is a few mins walk away and is delightful, lovely clean shallow warm water, perfect for little ones. There is also a lovely beach bar there which serves drinks into the night. If you fancy something a bit more fun, a short walk around the headland to Cala en Brut for crystal clear waters and tombstoning off the rocks. There are a few lovely restaurants nearby however we preferred spending our evenings in Cuitadella which has an abundance of restaurants and tapas bars and has a lovely athmosphere. Cuitadella also has some great shops and the harbour is very pretty.

Currently on our last day at vista blanes... This place is quiet and peaceful the staff are so helpful and happy to help. There is an onsite bar and restaurant beside the pool area which is great and the girl who works there is super friendly. The pool area is really lovely and clean and it's a big area and never a problem getting a sunbed it doesn't matter what time you go down there is always plenty. The pool is open 8.30am untill 8.30pm. The rooms are fine everything you need is there. There is a small beach 5 min walk away which is lovely and if you walk up past the rocks a bit there is an area we're u can jump off . There is no shop onsite which I think would have made life alot easier but there is a supermarket 5 to 10 mins walk away there is also a small shop at the hotel next door which we used aswell. Overall the place is very quiet perfect for families with young children or if it's just to relax for a week or 2 it's perfect but if it's something more lively you are after it wouldn't be for you. I would return
