Protur Floriana Resort

We went as a family of three with our 2 year old and would return. The apartment was just what we needed for our stay, enough room for the little one to run around, a microwave, fridge and sink etc. we had to report the toilet not flushing and the shower had very low pressure but was sorted straight away. the pools were great and the food was also good. The location was perfect for us, a short walk to the port with some restaurants and bars and then around 15 minutes walk to Cala Millor beach, where we went almost every morning. Cala Millor is full of shops, bars and restaurants so you get the best of both worlds. Our transfer with TUI took around an hour from the airport. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and was perfect for what we wanted.

We stayed 10 nights at this apart-hotel, all inclusive. We had a great time. The staff were excellent - chefs and restaurant staff worked very hard. There was a good choice of food available, it was very fresh and tasty. Slight downside was that there was only one restaurant so it became a bit ‘samey’. But the town was only a very short walk away, so you could get something there for a change if you wanted to (we never felt the need to do this). The maintenance team seemed quick to be fixing things and ground staff worked hard to ensure the complex was clean and tidy- emptying bins regularly. Our apartment was very clean and spacious. Beds were quite hard and showers didn’t maintain temperature, but that didn’t ruin our stay. Entertainment staff were BRILLIANT! Lots of things for our young kids to do and they really enjoyed the holiday.

I really couldn't fault this hotel. I've been to four star hotels that weren't up to this standard. Food was good we ate something different every day. There was a variety of salad,meats, fish and various vegetables The desserts were fabulously presented it was a shame to spoil them. Place was clean with plenty of things to do. The staff were always smiley and always helpful. Can't comment on the entertainment as we walked down to the seafront most nights. About a 10-15 minute walk. There was a great tourist info at the harbour, she was very good. If a bus is used it's best to use a card to pay as it is cheaper than cash. You tap your card when you get on and tap it when you get off

Brilliant hotel, clean rooms, good food and drink, lovely staff, quiet location. Arrived around 3pm,check in was simple, 2 lovely ladies on reception, porter service provided, the hotel is lovely and clean, staff are very friendly, food is good in my opinion, had 3 children with us and they ate well, entertainment was fine. Rooms were self catering 1 bedroom apartments with balcony, very spacious.

Just had a week at the Floriana Resort. The hotel had only been open 1 day when we arrived but you wouldn't know it. The outdoor pools were cold, this is only to be expected in May, but there was a heated indoor pool. The evening entertainment was probably the best I have seen at any all inclusive hotel. Of the 7 nights, there were bought in acts on 6 of them and they were good acts. On the other night there was a quiz, which we won, so that was quite entertaining as well. There was a kiddie disco every night which was great fun and all the children loved it. There is also a good kids club. One of our party is coeliac and this was probably the best hotel we have experienced for gluten free food. All foods are labelled if they are gluten free and there was a good choice. They provide gluten free bread if requested and it is very good quality, and for breakfast if you ask for a gluten free breakfast, you get pastries, bread, toast, cereal, again all very good quality. I ate one of the pastries and I would buy it, it was that nice. The food overall was very good, lots of choice and we were all more than happy with it. The accommodation was good, very spacious, air conditioning, flat screen TV, good wifi, fridge and small kitchen with microwave. If I was being really critical, the beds were a little on the hard side and the cocktails weren't great, but overall it is a very good choice for a family holiday, especially if anyone is gluten intolerant.

The Apartment's are well decorated and Clean, Thursdays and Sundays do not have Maid Service but we only had Maid Service Three days of our Weeks stay, we complained but only a apology from management. The Shower was a problem sometimes it would cut off, but i think there is a water pressure issue, also the apartments only have baths with nylon shower curtain, also no Hairdryer, The Beds where quite comfortable. Quite a few people where not happy with the food, complaining of it being only warm. This Hotel i would say is only suitable for Families as the Entertainment is mainly for Children. The walk down to Cala Bona Sea Frontage is quite a distance and would not suit older clients. This is one of the worst reviews i have ever wrote i am sorry to say. but Cala Bona and Cala Millor are both amazing resorts with a Beautiful Promenade interlinking the Two Resorts with lots and lots of Sea Frontage Hotels and an amazing amount of Quality Shops and Restaurants.

I stayed here last month we booked through tui, 4 adults and 1 toddler. We all stayed in one apartment. We arrived around half 8 in the evening to the hotel, reception staff was lovely. They got us sorted and then said go get something to eat as the restaurant shuts at 9 and a young boy took all our luggage back to the hotel room for us as the complex is quite large. It was a nice touch and we was excited for what awaited us as it seemed like they had high standards. (The young boy deserves recognition he is the shining star of this complex he might of seemed like he was just doing his job but he also took us back to our hotel on the odd occasion with the golf buggy) We went to the restaurant food was limited but it was the end of the night so fair enough its understandable staff seemed nice enough in the restaurant at first. Hotel room was spacious and plenty big enough for us 5 it was on the ground floor though and we was told they were the biggest rooms we ideal wanted a balcony so the toddler was able to securely have some outside time but it was understandable. Restaurant staff odd ones were lovely but they were few and far between, there were some absolutely awful restaurant staff the manor of them wasn’t acceptable, we was spoken to like nobody should ever be spoke to, they had no respect. The restaurant let this hotel down massively. Poor selection of foods and quality lacking with certain foods. Not enough bigger tables indoors either. This has got to be one of the poorest all inclusive hotels I’ve been to. We had one free night in the other restaurant and they had it right in their manor they was all lovely and couldn’t do more for you but food choices are very limited in there, had there been more choice we would of paid to eat in there. We also had some takeout from it for dinners that we paid for. Swimming pools were good always clean, was always able to get a sun lounger although typical like always nearly everywhere you go, people putting towels on beds and leaving them there all day. Our apartment was very clean to a high standard upon arrival and the lady’s kept on top of it throughout the week. Entertainment was okay, the people in the kids club were friendly enough and couldn’t do more for the kids. Tui rep at the hotel is lovely we had a good chat with her and she helped sort a few things out for us, she’s there most mornings if not every morning. I will say more needs to be done especially in the restaurant with regards to children and even adults with hidden disabilities. My child has several diagnosis, she struggled and especially at the restaurant and then to have staff treat us so poorly to. We won’t return nor would I recommend this hotel as an all inclusive. If you stay here stay self catering because the all inclusive is not worth it at all.

A lovely resort, with helpful, friendly staff. Food was excellent with great choices & varied daily. Our Grandaughter thought food merited 4 stars. Free bike hire is a bonus, although bike locks were often missing. Evening children's disco seemed aimed at pre school age, yet many were older.

This was our first abroad family holiday with our children so wanted it to be really special and for them to have lots of things to do. It took a little while to get to Cala Bona from Palma airport but once we arrived we were very pleased! Check in was welcoming and easy and we were offered to store our luggage there so we could quickly get some lunch before they closed! First thing we noticed as we approached the restaurant was that there was a hand washing station, I thought this was great! Our first lunch was quick but lovely, we were just glad at this point to have a drink and some food! We went to our room which was up two flights of stairs, my legs felt it by the end of the week! Our room was spacious, clean and everything we needed for our break. The little kitchen area with fridge was very handy even though we were all inclusive, we were able to keep a few things cool and make up some squash for the children. The balcony overlooked the hotel opposite and had a lovely view of that pool. The bedroom had shutters and curtains so was really dark. The rooms were cleaned with fresh towels almost every day, they weren’t changed one day which we didn’t realise but that was fine. I have to say that we thoroughly enjoyed every meal we had during our stay. There was always an option for the children and good variety for the adults. I especially enjoyed the different salads and the lemon ice cream was pretty good too! The staff here work incredibly hard, they are always welcoming and very happy. They never once looked fed up if there was a spillage or food to wipe up off the table, they were exceptional. The entertainment in the evening was perfect for the children and we as adults enjoyed the music too! The bar staff were always coming around asking if we wanted more drinks and quickly clearing any empties away. The local town is just down the road, about a 10 minute walk away. We ate out one night and had food Smithy’s bar by the harbour. It was the best steak we have had in a very long time! Lots of shops all offering the same sorts of things, quite a trek to carry anything heavy back though. We did one trip during our stay and went to the Cuevas del Drach. We booked a boat trip with the moonfish glass bottom boat. We enjoyed the trip and although it was a 20 minute walk from the harbour to the caves, it was a quick 20 minute walk especially on the return when we needed to get back quickly for the boat! I would not recommend doing this if you need to get back quickly and have older, slower walkers with you. The caves themselves were fantastic though made extra special with the little concert. Overall we had a brilliant stay, food, drinks, entertainment, housekeeping were all excellent. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a break in Majorca!
