Hotel Forum Evolucion

Lovely little hotel with wonderful staff tucked away in a side street near Human Evolution museum and Burgos museum. There is a little cafe with this hotel and the food and drinks are superb. There is also little tapas bars nearby before you even get over the bridge to the tourist spots. Will definitely stay again. Clean, easy, comfortable and brilliant staff.

Thankfully the Hotel Forum Evolucion is situated right behind the monumental Forum housing the brilliant Museo de la Evolucion Humana on the south side of Burgos, otherwise the modest entry to this city hotel would be a little hard to find. Drop your bags off outside the door and park in the Forum underground carpark. Rooms are somewhere between functional and minimalist, but clean and comfortable (nice wide single beds). Breakfast is not expensive and benefits from the proximity of the coffee-bar adjacent to the hotel. Five minutes walk across the bridge and you are in town, with all the restaurants Burgos has to offer.

The room are little but tiny. The staff at welcome desk is very very kind and welcoming. Very good hotel. The breakfast good. Difficult to park nearby. The breakfast it was good. the location not too far from intersting place

A 1st class hotel with excellent food and service. We stayed here while on the Camino de Santiago and this hotel was a proper gem. Beautiful shops and restaurants all within a stones throw. The staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful.

The best hotel we stayed at in Spain. Large well-equipped room on a quiet street. 5 minutes walk to the old town. Good breakfast, for very reasonable 6 Eur. Very helpful staff. Burgos, on the train line between Madrid and Bilbao, is well worth a visit. The cathedral is astonishing; rated one of the best in Europe by expert Simon Jenkins. The Museum of Human Evolution is superb. We had an excellent lunch in the town.

We stayed here in April as we were travelling through Spain and wanted to try somewhere different to those previoulsy visited. The staff were really helpful, efficient and friendly with good English too. No onsight food meant we had to go out for a meal but the onsight cafe was good for snacks and drinks. The breakfast offering was included and excellent, we enjoyed this very much. The room and bathroom was very clean and tidy, but no tea or coffee facilities in the room. Parking is available at extra charge, but as this is secure and 24 hour manned, it is worth the cost. We booked here for our return trip as we were so impressed and returned to the same excellent experience in May.

Lovely small hotel convenient for visiting Burgos. Clean, comfortable and quiet and everything worked. Breakfast cheap and cheerful- excellent value for 5 euros and quite sufficient but not fancy! Staff spoke English which made things easy. Parking not on site but using huge underground car park less than 5 mins away was simple using a card and then paying a daily fee €9 at the hotel was simple and there was parking for unloading/loading luggage outside the hotel.

Staff was welcoming and helpful. Lots of hot water and my room was spacious. Everything clean and nice. For being in the city, the hotel was quite quiet.I found the breakfast better than at most hotels. Would recommend it to anyone and would gladly stay there again.
