I booked a room for myself and my family and arrived at the hotel around 12 PM. Unfortunately, we were told that check-in was only available at 2 PM. To pass the time, we explored the area in search of lunch, but were disappointed to find that there weren’t any decent food options nearby — even Google reviews didn’t help. If you’re planning to visit, I’d suggest just making it a short trip and not expecting much in terms of food. I was genuinely excited about staying here because of the Japanese Village, but that too turned out to be quite underwhelming. You need to climb and hike to reach it, which would have been fine if the experience was worth it. However, the village itself was very small, mostly greenery, with only two or three tiny houses that serve more as photo props than anything else. When we finally checked in, the room we were given had a door that was extremely difficult to open and close, which felt unsafe. I noticed other rooms seemed to have the same issue. Because of this, I decided to cancel our stay. I spoke to the manager, who told me I could try requesting a refund through the third-party site I booked with. He said if they were okay with it, he would approve it on his end — even though the booking was marked non-refundable. However, after submitting the refund request, it was rejected without any explanation. I tried to speak with the manager again, but he conveniently disappeared into the toilet and never came back. Before leaving, I was told by the receptionist that the manager would reach out to me — but I never heard back. To make things worse, there’s no Grab or regular taxi service available in the area. You’re forced to go through the hotel to arrange transport, which costs 2–3 times more than usual rates. All in all, a very disappointing experience. I had high hopes for this stay, but it fell short in almost every way.

This is the place for relaxing, reading a book at Starbucks, walking around to enjoy the fresh air and well groomed landscape, taking photo with the colourful buildings and the lovely lake with ducks and swans swimming gracefully.  Simple breakfast included. Downside - u can finish exploring the whole place within few hours, so must plan ur own program, example, driving down to bukit Tinggi village 1/2 hr away, for local food and coffee, and buy local fruits and vegetables.  The room was clean but could be better, the balcony was not sufficiently cleaned and dried. The receptionist who checked us in and out was friendly and helpful 👍

Room was okay but there are some furnitures and toilet tiles old which could be better if they are capable for upgrading. View and weather are good, definitely a good place for short getaway. Month of ramadhan and guess not much guests and hence lesser option for food. Buffet breakfast has variety of choice include nasi lemak, bread and pastry, roti canai, small vegetarian corner, oatmeal and yoghurts, fruits and salad. Coffee and drinks can be improved. Hoping this place to revive again with more guest.

The room is very big and comfortable, only the bed quality need to improve! Overall environment is nice.

Although the place is "medieval" themed, the furniture and cleanliness doesn't have to be too. Our room is spacious, but the furniture screams 2 stars hotel to me. They didn't even provide us with shampoo. Breakfast buffet was not impressive, very limited selection of food and some food tasted worse than roadside stalls. The coffee taste as bad as the one we had at Berjaya Timesquare hotel.. very sour and horrible! To think that Berjaya owns Starbucks..with that kind of coffee quality no wonder both are failing fast now. Bye Berjaya! Next time pls Prioritize on customers satisfaction rather than making quick bucks!

Beautiful place to chill with family or as couples.. Very chill weather and the hotel also so good. Worth for the price and very clean too. The service also good and I love the breakfast. I would like to visit again but this time is during Christmas.. Just to get the full French vibes..

First time stay at bukit tinggi. I have my great deal of room rate even is CNY 3rd day and it is Friday. The room is clean. Large enough. I would suggest the Monkey Aware notice to put on window. Instead of putting on the table.

A nice place to visit for a change from monotonous life, cool weather and a happening place.Despite its location , there are some concerns which should be checked by the management, we were in deluxe suite room, the room was very spacious but there are some points which i would like to mention ,there was blood stain in the bedsheet, toilet flush was noisy , water was running throughout the time, window locks were not good,now a days microwave in room is very common but that was missing , in my opinion maintaining old charm is good but the need of renovations should be kept in mind. Anyways we enjoyed staying there the breakfast buffet was too good ,lot of food options . Resort provides free shuttle for its guests to visit Japanese Garden. Evening music shows and zumba dance was fun, even we were lucky to witness lion dance also.

Rm250 for this huge and clean room, it was a last minute booking but it exceeded our expectation! Keep it up the great work to maintain and delivering the great service. It may be an old hotel but the vintage side of is a plus! I believe it is newly painted too. As long as the cleanliness is the priority and the amenities are well maintained, the hotel has more potential 🤍

Our stay was pleasant, the staff were very nice. The food was great with a lot of variety for breakfast.
