Don't change money here! We went to the Asia Bukhara hotel to change dollars to Uzbek Som. Their exchange rate was well below the national rate which was offered everywhere else - banks, other hotels, the airport and train stations. You could pay for a taxi to the station and back to change $100 and still get more Som than than if you change at the Asia Bukhara

The hotel puts you right in the most interesting part of Bukhara, with restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. Otherwise, there's little to impress. I had to turn off the fridge because of its loud noice. The bathroom fan had the same issue. There was no safe. The A/C was hard to regulate to a convenient level. The outlets were poorly located and I had to crawl under the desk to put my charger in. That said, the WiFi was OK and the room of good size. The breakfast buffet offered a fine choice, but there was a puzzling absence of serving utensils.

Friendly, very helpful, efficient staff, Front Desk, Waiters, Housekeepers.! Always a greeting and a smile. Attention to every detail - ATM at entrance, bank downstairs, large selection of toiletries provided in bathroom, Non-slip mat in shower, heated rack for towels which were soft cotton, sheets and towels sparkling white, bed super comfy had mattress topper and duvet, mini fridge, items for making in-room coffe or tea, smart tv, excellent 5g WiFi! Room promptly cleaned, excellent same-day laundry service, beautiful garden with pool, colorful flowers, curtained gazebos (my favorite place for relaxing afternoon tea) lots of birds and a gorgeous white house cat! Breakfast buffet had wide selection of meats, cheeses, cereals, juices, pastries, and an omelette making station. Location was perfect! Away from crowds, but just cross the street and you are in the historic area with lots of bazaars and cafes, plus the famous Lyabi Haus lake. Needless to say I had an excellent 9-day stay! Kudos to Mr. Khamid for managing such an exceptional property!

No hot water in our room- so showers are...cold! Also applied to a companions room! This hotel is the mainstay for large nomadic international tour groups, so many are just here for a night or two, so at times the lobby is crowded with arriving/ departing. A useful money changing machine in the lobby. Reception staff are brilliant and very helpful and attentive...cant be easy for them coping with the ever shifting demands of guests. Prepare for electricity outages...they seem a daily occurrence at any time of day. Sometimes this delays the breakfast staff who clearly can't cook/ heat water without power. Breakfast appears sp**** and lacking in choice compared to other Asia group hotels and the serving area is not at all well laid out which helps fuel the feeling of 'International breakfast chaos'! The location is brilliant right at the heart of Bukhara.

Excellent location in historic area. Easy to walk to everything - sights, restaurants etc. WiFi worked well in our room. Good Pool and garden area to relax by the pool.
TV with some English channels. Kettle with tea bags. Breakfast okay not great.
Friendly helpful service.

Excellent customer service. Staff did everything possible to make my stay superb. Manager Hamid and reception and restaurant all magnificent. Very comfortable room. Beautiful Gardens. Convenient location

The hotel is in a great location, right across the street from main attractions. The facade of the hotel could even be confused for a site itself. The room was clean and everything worked reasonably well. Only minor complaint is that hotel keeps your passport overnight….an outdated and unnecessary practice that makes travelers uneasy.
