The hotel is very nice and clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Great location near the town and Truro cathedral. Just a little more approval is breakfast. Should have more selected.

Key points ; Nice bar and lounge area Small rooms Poor breakfast the room is nice but you would get a better breakfast in a holiday in express Small rooms which are not cleaned. Overall it looks nice the public areas are kept clean but it's not somewhere I'll rush back to.

It’s okay, the staff are friendly and helpful. The room was small and in need of renovation ( the sink is cracked and the shower needs to be cleaned of mould). The breakfast offered was continental, perhaps the website should reflect what is on offer. It was absolutely okay and people super helpful. Overall fine but would not rush back.

Amazing staff clean facilities such a simplistic no fuss hotel real joy to stay the Pizza’s and food were fantastic I have stayed in many hotels in Cornwall and the West Country but this has to be the best for value and comfort!!! Would recommend to any person wanting a great place to stay! Sanjay Joshi Hampshire

Stayed here 3 times. Second time bed was not good, got same room this time 12 months later and it’s the same lumpy bed. Mentioned it to reception as I did last time but no real interest shown. Hotel is actually quite nice, good parking and not far frown town centre but I’m not sure if I’ll risk it again.

We visited this lovely quant hotel in Truro on a recent trip to Cornwall. It is super central! The city itself is historic and charming, yet modern and this hotel complements that perfectly. Easy going breakfast and great staff! Free parking too which is a bonus! Thanks to Tim and the team! See you next time.

The room I was allocated was small. So small that a chair could not fit between the bed and the dresser. It had a high window and a ceiling window with a pole provided to pull the blackout curtain. The shower was tiny, my elbows touching both walls. On the corridor to the bedrooms there was very heavy air freshener usage and I always question why that would be needed. Some internet problems were eventually sorted but nobody able to resolve why my mobile phone could not connect. I think this "hotel" is over rated and over priced.

I'd echo Nirvana999; my experience and opinion is identical. Good points - comfortable bed, good (and fast) breakfast, attentive staff. The spa/sauna etc is now closed (forever?). The lock came away in my hand; "thanks for that", said the receptionist when I gave it to her. The hotel's under new ownership, (the family owns Mannings, the no1-rated Truro Hotel), and likely to be refurbished soon, they say. So things could change! I don't recognise the "Singing weekend" descriptions - clearly I should have been there! My experience was similar to staying at a B&B which I've done quite a bit recently; same facilities, same room size, same comfort levels, twice the price. It's a big hotel - 30 bedrooms, so doesn't have the intimacy and friendliness of the best B&Bs.

stayed for one night.When we arrived we were told the toilet flush was a bit dodgy and so it proved!Our room was very small but adequate.Decor was very tired and there were potential safety hazards like a narrow bath ,and sharp edge protruding from the radiator.On the plus side fluffy towels and decent bed and bedding.The young lady on evening reception was helpful and friendly and bar prices were reasonable.Breakfast was substantial,plenty of variety and good service.The new owners just need to refurb the rooms and it could be a gem.
