Beautiful hotel, simple but elegant. Extremely clean always. Very good attention from staff at all times. Nothing was any trouble to them. Very friendly, especially Daniel. Breakfast was a limited choice but adequate and I am sure if we had made a request for something different they would have tried their best to accommodate.The bar was open 24 hours for any drinks you needed. I would go back there and highly recommend.

The hotel was located in a quiet street close to the center. There were excellent massage services, good breakfast, good service.

The hotel was really nicely located close to all amenities and means of public transport.

Cheap and cheerful, in a quiet area but not very far from the town at all. There were restaurants around the back streets too which are definitely worth trying as everywhere was excellent. The staff at the hotel were really friendly and helpful. We stayed in room 102 and it was exceptionally clean, they didn't clean rooms until later in the afternoon which means you don't get woken up which is great! The room has air con, a fridge, large flat screen TV with a few English channels and this was more than we expected to be honest for the price. The decor is a little odd however did not affect our stay at all. The bed was very comfy and there were extra covers and pillows in the wardrobe. We only had breakfast twice and it was lovely, plenty of choice, there was an issue with one newer staff member mixing up our order but they couldnt have been more apologetic and resolved it right away. Only thing that would make it better would be more of a selection of drinks at the bar but this is really minor as we were out and about every day. Highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a place that isn't too pricey to crash after sightseeing.

I stayed here for about a week. the room was small, but functional. The shower was quite large, which was nice. I did find the bathroom smell funny, but I suspect it was a close to the sewer vent. They don’t change the towels and sheets every day to be honest. I’m not sure if they changed them at all while I was there. The staff was friendly and helpful. When asked the price was very budget friendly. Had lots of free Wi-Fi throughout the facility. I found it be an excellent location , you’re about 300 m or so from the subway but you’re in a very quiet area, so you didn’t get the city it was on a quiet street. I think it’s an excellent location for a short stay. Did you serve breakfast in the mornings at a cost and they also have a restaurant bar there as well .

Arrived for a 4 night stay from the Uk, arrived approx 9.30pm at night, lovely welcome at reception. We had Rm 103, wasn’t much of a view but room although quite basic, was pleasant enough. Decor was not to our taste and the 3 rugs in the room were a bit slippy and just not needed but it was all very very clean. Went down for breakfast which was a bit of an odd set up to what we’re used too as we were given a list and you just pick off what you want. The breakfast was basic BUT the few things we picked were cooked and presented beautifully. I fell ill on the city break so one of the nights my hubby dined alone downstairs off the Indian menu which he said he enjoyed and it was reasonably priced. Overall, a basic hotel but customer service was great and we would consider returning. Special mention to all the staff team who work hard, nothing was ever a problem and housekeeping staff do a fab job. **We loved the 5 cats who live and seem well looked after by the hotel ❤️

We stayed 2 nights at the Hotel Michelangelo as part of a Wowcher deal. The hotel is in a great location, approx. 10 mins walk from city centre and 30 mins walk from Old Town. Staff are all so friendly and helpful, made us feel very welcome. Room was basic but clean and just what we needed to rest our heads after a day of exploring. We had an issue with the safe and missing towel but issues were rectified straight away with no fuss. Would recommend this hotel if you want a great location with great staff (including the cute and friendly cats!)

Was there in July 2022, so this is a late one! The staff is helpful, as they helped me to get my phone back, when I lost it in a taxi. The room was quite big and was alright! The reception is kinda far off from the road in an alley, but don't let that dissuade you!

Nice quiet hotel in the center of Bucharest. With elements of Indian style in the interior. In the morning you can hear birds singing. Check-in from 2 p.m. There are single rooms and a luggage storage room.

I slept in thia hotel in october 2023 for 4 nights. Good position for visit the city, reception is open 24H breakfast is avaible by menu a la carte until 11 A.M. Clean room, very helpful staff and good value for money.

Bus 783 (cost 6 RON) from the airport to Piata Victoriei & then a 5 or 6 mins walk to the hotel. A quick & friendly check in by Daniel who, with my room key card in hand, also showed me to my 3rd floor room. A nice sized room & even though I was travelling solo it was easily spacious enough for 2 people. Clean with a walnut laminate floor, luggage rack, large wardrobe, safe, extra towels, coat rack/hooks, work desk, tv, 2 armchairs, coffee table, fridge, double bed, smoke alarm, radiator, aircon & 3 spare electrical sockets. A small window & a door & panel (to nowhere, no balcony) meant an abundance of natural light, blackout curtains kept the room dark in the morning. No issues with noise from outside or inside the hotel. There was no kettle, tea or coffee in the room. There was no iron in the room but when I inquired at reception, I was given one & an ironing board immediately. Wi-Fi was password protected, quick to connect to, consistent with fast speeds & auto reconnected instantly. My bathroom was a nice size, clean with tiled floor & walls, bidet, towel radiator, hairdryer, mirror, 2 small bottles of shampoo, wall fan/vent, towels, basin & unit, shower cubicle with shower head & hose on a riser rail, easily controlled shower valve with plenty of hot water & very good water pressure. I went down for breakfast (07:30 – 10:00) at 09:10 & it was quiet. Table service only, ordered from the menu with fried eggs, omelettes, salami, yoghurt, cheese, toast, bread, jam, butter, melted cheese, sliced tomatoes, tea, coffee, orange juice, water & milk. The bar was very quiet & far from expensive with Ursus Romanian lager costing just RON5.00 for a 330mls bottle. I had a great conversation there about Romanian history with David who spoke fantastic English & who covered the reception, the bar & breakfast. The hotel has one lift & there is a shoe buffing/shining machine in the foyer. There is very little in the way of restaurants, bars, cafes, shops etc in the immediate vicinity of the hotel but the close by Calea Victoriei has a multitude of all of those. No more than 10 mins walk from the hotel on Calea Victoriei I found a great courtyard bar & bistro called Green Hours. Great staff & a chilled out atmosphere with 500mls tankards of draft Ursus lager costing RON12.00. It took me 25 mins to walk from the hotel & down Calea Victoriei to the old town, stopping several times on the way to take photos. Gare Du Nord station is the first stop from the nearest metro to the hotel. As I had loads of time & the weather was nice & dry, I walked to Gare Du Nord & that took me 20 mins & it was an easy straight forward walk. I must add that all of the locals that I asked for directions were more than helpful, friendly & generous with their time as language difficulties did occur often.
