Carmelites Guest House

We stayed at the apar**ent for 5 nights. If location is important, and it should be, you can not beat this. The de Manneken Pis is literally out the front door. Three great restaurants 2 minutes away. The Grand Plaza maybe at the max 10 minutes. Room is spacious and very clean. Full kitchen. Great shower and queen bed. Ground floor good wifi and very quiet at night. Honestly it can't be beat would stay here again any time.

Centralized location. Walkable to everything, and great dining options within walkable distance. The best staff and great breakfast. Highly recommend!

The apar**ent was clean and very comfortable, and the bathroom was bigger than most hotel rooms. Pascal was very friendly, welcoming and helpful with suggestions for walks, museums, restaurants and guide maps. First class service in a convenient area within a few minutes' walk of the Grand Palace and the Manneken Pis statue.

We had a nice stay at this property. The host is nice, helpful, and accessible, and provided useful information that made our visit to the city enjoyable. More importantly he chatted with us and answered many questions (I had) about the city and the country, which helped me understand the culture a bit and learned more than what I would have just from reading.

The owner/manager of this property, Pascal, was accommodating and was helpful in explaining to us where to go and arranging breakfast at our selected time. Pascal did also walked with us to help us locate a pharmacy (on Sunday). Room and toilet are big for someone coming from London and room is tidy and the bed is comfy. The only issue for someone else could be the stairs. However, this was not a problem for us.

After walking up 42 steps you will enter a large bedroom with a separate large bathroom. There is a high step between the two. There is a high sided tub with only a hand held shower. Pascal the host is very friendly and helpful. Even offered to walk with us to Central Station helping with luggage. Would we stay again* For most people I would say absolutely stay here. For us older folks,81and 78, I would be sorry to say no.

Pascale a very friendly and helpful host! Would happily stay here again. Maybe next time we'll meet little Niaow who was a bit shy!

Pascal was a great host. The room was spacious and the bed was so cozy. He went for fresh pastries each day. So sweet. Would Deff stay again

Beautiful place, tremendously comfortable. Pascal is an exceptional host, very friendly, and good-humored. The room is so cozy it makes you sad when it comes the time to leave. High-quality wifi, which made a real difference for us (my husband had to attend online classes in the mornings, and everything worked flawlessly). On our first night there, we were offered a beer. My husband and I are both vegans, and Pascal did everything he could to find out vegan spots recommendations. He was also concerned if he should get anything different for our breakfast every day. It was a great experience to wake up and have a delicious breakfast while listening to classic music. On our last day, we checked out at 11 am, but our flight was scheduled for departing in the evening. He was also kind enough to allow us to leave our luggage at the place for the whole day. When going back to Brussels, we definitely want to stay there again!
