Opus Broadbeach

Our apar**ent at Opus , Broadbeach was lovely. Very modern with everything you would need. Views of beach from every room. Floor to ceiling windows. There were blockout curtains in the bedrooms although just nylon in all other windows. As it gets lighter in Queensland the glare was a bit difficult. About 15 m walk in to Broadbeach ,with a nice variety of eateries.

A great stay, our apar**ent sported wonderful views of Gold Coast city, the beach and ocean. Very spacious, extremely well equipped with dish washer, washing machine and dryer. Choice of bright or ambient lighting. Comfy beds and pillows. Very clean. Close to everything. We have stayed at many places on the Gold Coast and the Opus has got to be the winner so far. Needed to contact the manager for something and their response was commendable, fast and efficient. Large balcony which was great as it was hot and we really enjoyed being able to spend a lot of time out there with our family. Guest amenities were great and they also have an option of purchasing more if needed. This room was for four people yet there was 6 of everything which was so handy. Wine and Champagne glasses included with all the other items one needs while staying. Awesome bathrooms (we had two) great pressure in the shower. We will be returning for sure.

Beautiful apar**ent couldn’t fault anything. So spacious, clean and amazing location. The reception was first class, extremely helpful and polite. We didn’t want to leave would highly recommend staying here. 10/10 😊

Beautiful place will definitely be back we all loved it the only downside was the other people that lived in the building not being very nice and acting like we are disturbing them just by staying and minding our own business.

The hotel looked nice enough but there was a revolting smell in the room that got worse. We were only there for a long weekend and could not get another room due to the hotel being fully booked. Our room was advertised as having secure parking but we were told we had to park in the visitor parks which were full each night so we had to find a park on the street. Reception is only open during certain hours and then there is an after hours service which basically just took messages that were not followed up on. We had no follow up from reception through our stay when we complained about the smell or parking. We asked for air freshener but were told they had none so had to go and buy our own. We had to spray the room with air freshener and leave the doors open if we were in the room to make it bearable. If we went out and then returned after having the doors closed the smell was horrendous. Similar to a really bad sewerage smell. We couldn’t eat in the room due to the smell. This was not cheap accomodation and the lack of service along with the horrendous smell has meant we would not return and not recommend this hotel. I would have preferred a refund at the time so we could find pleasant accomodation elsewhere.

Great location, not in the hustle and bustle of the main drag of Broadbeach but close enough - beautiful building, great apar**ent - will stay again for sure.

Apar**ent is brand new and looks just like the pictures. High floor request was granted with great views all the way to Coolangatta. Supplies was not a issue as we only stayed for 2 nights but will be nicer if there is daily housekeeping. Car park is very tight given the small footprint of the property.
