Summary of the feedback that I also shared with hotel directly: Hi, I have left very disappointed after my last visit to the hotel and would not be returning as a result. I arrived with my mum after a long journey, I came to Reception and there were two people at Reception desk when I arrived. One receptionist lady was already serving a couple - there was some sort of an issue with their booking. There was another gentleman who was busy walking around / doing something - I walked up to him, thinking he may check me in. He completely did not acknowledge me (he could clearly see I was there so at least say sorry, I can't help you, my colleague will...) so then I walked back to the Reception lady and waited until she resolved the customers she was dealing with. In the meantime, another couple arrived (well after me) and then the Receptionist lady waved at her colleague, I assume asking him to help her and he went and approached / started checking in the couple who came after me - without even looking at me or acknowledging me. I was brought up to be more polite than that, so didn't want to cause any drama or confrontation at that point but clearly, this was very poor service. Not only did the gentleman at Reception handle this very poorly, but also his colleague, who saw I have been queuing, could have pointed out that I am due next. Anyway - considering this is not a cheap hotel at all, I would expect at least half decent level of service. I definitely did not receive it.
