Booked for three nights and spoke to the lady who runs it/ Manager on Sunday night for - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday checkout Thursday she said can I ring you back I'm not at the hotel I'm at home need to look at the diary 🙄 so she rings back she said yes I can do that I thought she was going to say £135 for the three nights stayed a few times at the Whitehouse it's always been £45 a night supposed to be a budget hotel she said £70 a night so £210 for three nights its expensive for single occupancy it's gone up £30 a night since the last time I was there so I said save the room I will settle the bill tomorrow she said I won't be there until 3pm then she said what you doing down ere are you working this is what she said last time it's really a hotel for contractors working in the city not really a hotel you can relax and have a bit of holiday to chaotic so after we spoke I checked the recent reviews and people was saying about bring some ear plugs because of the noise that put me off and when I rang her Monday lunchtime and said I'm early any chance of settling the bill and dropping my suitcase off she said you can't there's no staff at the hotel 🤔 you can leave your bags there but at your own risk there's no one there to look after them so after that and the reviews about needing ear plugs at £70 a night I found somewhere else shambolic and chaotic hotel I've learnt my lesson now with hotels on Coronation Road to much messing around and bad customer service.

This is a budget guesthouse in a slightly less pleasing area of Bristol. Beds were okay, great shower mind you. Very roomy. Good base for exploring Bristol (or catching the train to Bath). Only thing worth noting is the noise levels, there’s a couple of rowdy bars near by that create a significant amount of noise that may impact your sleep! We were warned on check in about the noise. I’d recommend bringing ear plugs. Still very good on a budget.

We booked 3 rooms for a weekend to attend to a family wedding The rooms were very clean. No frills but comfy beds and lovely shower(over bath) Ideal as a base, very near Wapping wharf and plenty of pubs even closer. They no longer serve breakfast but kettle cups in room Would definitely stay again as WiFi and parking Thanks for your welcome Chris

Terrible customer service. Booked for a hen party on *********** with no issue. I received a phone call shortly after booking and was informed by a man that if we wanted to stay as a hen party we would need to give a cash deposit equivalent to £20 per person. He told me that this cash would be placed in the safe and given back to me if there was no damage to the facilities, then I would receive my money back. He seemed genuine and nice so I agreed. It's hard to find affordable and central accommodation for a hen party..... my silly fault. Have now received this evening that my booking has been cancelled (at 10pm). So I panicked and rang the number given on the cancellation email. No answer... I found a number of their website and an older lady answered the phone. She had no idea what I was talking about or when the man would return my phone call. I received a text saying "I will call you back." The man rang me and sounded rather annoyed. He asked me why I was ringing at the late hour. I explained I was using the number on the cancellation email I just received. He told me he was talking to a man "from america" and ***********. I asked if my booking was still valid and he told me no. The group was too large. I explained that I was told it was OK if I paid the deposit. He said no, they have "changed things" since then and I need to go through *********** I feel very messed about and let down. Unprofessional and unreliable. My advice........don't bother.

Bedsheet was covered in stains and had hair on it Carpet hadn't been hoovered for days - random bits all over and clumps of blonde hair everywhere, as well as a wrapper of some sort! Sink covered in squirts of pink soap, hair in sink and towel damp and scrunched as if it had been used. I was definitely not staying here so confronted the owner who checked the room, apologised and said 'normally the cleaners are very good'. I asked for a refund - which she confirmed straight to my face would be processed in full - and I left the premises to stay at Hilton Garden Inn. After going back and forward with *********** for the last week, the guesthouse is denying everything and refusing to provide me my refund. Absolutely disgusting service as well as a disgusting guesthouse! Never in my life have I requested a refund for a hotel/b&b, never mind left the property as it was so unclean and in no habitable state! Don't be fooled by the "vulnerable" act this old lady puts on. Do **NOT** stay here. Absolutely shocking!
