Guests staying at Archontiki City Hotel are just few steps from the central market and the nightlife as well as right next to the old Venetian harbor.
Archontiki City Hotel consists of 24 well appointed rooms featuring independent bathroom, hair dryer, refrigerator, TV, air conditioning, telephone and balcony. All rooms and reception have free wireless internet access.
Superior rooms boast a large balcony from where the visitor can enjoy the view of the city, towards the old Venetian port and the square of the Municipal Market.
The location offers multiple options for exploring Chania and the whole island of Crete, having easy proximity to the bus stop and taxi rank, located only yards from the hotel.
The friendly staff, readily available 24 hours a day, offers tour desk and rental services and will be glad to assist guests in any way and offer tips and recommendations.

TTài khoản kháchOur stay at Selected Suite was simply perfect! The location is amazing, and the room itself is unbelievable, everything brand new, with stunning design and incredible comfort. The space is large, with a beautiful terrace, a huge shower, and modern detail, the steam room was a big bonus after a long day. Honestly, the decoration is so impressive I could happily live here.
Everything was spotless every single day, it’s honestly one of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed. I felt so comfortable that I never wanted to leave. The team even prepared a wonderful birthday surprise for my partner, which made our stay extra special.
Parking was very easy, the reception is available at all times and always helpful, and the cleaning ladies are just fantastic, smiling, kind, and doing an excellent job. A very special thank you to Ayu, who was absolutely adorable and made our stay unforgettable with her kindness and warmth.
I recommend this place 100%! I cannot wait to come back. Honestly, I couldn’t find a single thing to improve everything was truly perfect.

JJimmibobAbsolutely stunning place in a perfect location just a short stroll along the sea front to the historic old town of Chania and the Venetian Harbour. In the other direction an even shorter stroll to the harbour and Nea Chora beach - which has a ton of bars shops and restaurants. Property is directly on the seafront in a real tranquil location - with a beautiful pool and incredible sea views everywhere you stood. The staff were fantastic and even contacted me on WhatsApp prior to my stay to arrange my check in. Had my room ready early - which was fabulous. I was incredibly lucky to have a suite with a hot tub right on the sea front - beautifully decorated, fresh, clean and the views from the balcony were incredible. I believe breakfast is included for all guests, which was lovely with a wide variety of hot and cold food drinks and pastries. The only criticism is of myself that I didn’t stay longer. I would come back in a heartbeat!

TTài khoản kháchThis was one of many hotels we looked at but after so many positive reviews about the hotel and the staff it was a no brainer to book and we weren’t disappointed. The staff go out of their way to help you always with a friendly smile. The hotel is clean and adults only makes it a bonus. It’s a 10 second walk from the beach front. The beach is a cove never over crowded and the water is crystal clear and shallow for a long way. Plenty of little shops and places to eat out in this little village. Breakfast in the hotel was good, tasty. Not spoilt for choice but plenty for whatever your tastes. Pool area is great always get a bed. But we mostly went to the beach. There’s a car hire place nearby and a trip to Chania Old Town is an absolute must do. Would come back here again for sure and to this lovely hotel. Highly recommend it.

Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und die Dame an der Bar hat uns ein Willkommensdrink gegeben. Das Hotel wirkt am Eingang recht hochwertig und man fuehlt sich gut aufgehoben. Ich würde sagen es hat kein 5-Sterne Niveau, aber so um die 3,5-4 absolut.
Das Zimmer das wir bekommen hatten, hatte leider keine Fenster (in der Beschreibung stand es gibt eins). Kein Problem für uns. Unsere größter Kritikpunkt ist, da es in der Dusche keine Tür gab, weil diese entfernt wurde. Somit konnte man leider nicht richtig duschen ohne Wasser nach außen zu spritzen. Als wir es beim Empfang bescheid gegeben hatten, gab es leider nur ein „wussten wir gar nicht“ und lieber ans klingelnde Telefon gehen und den Gast stehen lassen. Wer soll es dann wissen wenn nicht das Hotel, leider somit weit entfernt von 5-Sterne Service. Eine kleine Entschuldigung hatten wir erwartet, und das man sich dem Problem annimmt. Finde ich wirklich Schade, dass man so viel Geld und dann ein Zimmer bekommt, welches nicht dem Standard entspricht und eigentlich nicht auf dem gewollten Niveau ist um an Gäste vergeben zu werden. Zum Glück haben wir nur einen Tag hier verbracht und vorher in einem richtigen 5-Sterne Hotel die Woche verbracht.
Ich kann hier wirklich nur overall 3/5 Sterne geben.

SSky7Very clean, spacious kitchen with enough of refrigerator space, no phone/personal item organization shelf or hanging closets around the bed space. Within walking distance to nearby beach and old town of Chania. The first three days I was bothered by the street noises, which is unavoidable being in the city at times unless the sounds proof is well installed, otherwise it is a great place as a base to explore around.

AAnastasia123We stayed here with my mom for one night, and we were absolutely delighted with this hotel. From the moment we arrived, we knew it was special. The location is perfect—set in a peaceful village, just a one-minute walk to a wide, spacious beach with easy access to the water.
The room was spotless, freshly renovated, and even smelled pleasant. We had a large balcony with a table, and everything was so clean that when we wiped the table, there wasn’t even a trace of dust. The attention to detail in the cleaning was truly impressive.
The owner was wonderful to meet—so kind, welcoming, and generous. He treated us to fresh fruit and shared many helpful tips about the area, making our stay feel extra personal and warm. Breakfast was another highlight: homemade, delicious, and prepared with so much care.
This hotel completely won us over—the location, the atmosphere, the hospitality, everything was perfect. We already dream of coming back and staying longer.
