This cabin is located on Placid Lake which is a fully recreational 162 acre lake located in Sawyer County. Placid Lake is a clean, clear, and quiet lake perfect for a pontoon, fishing boat, ski boat, canoe or kayak. Placid lake is also part of the 819 acre Tiger Cat Chain of 6 lakes which has boat access throughout to Burns, Tiger Cat, McClaine, Upper and Lower Twin Lakes. Fish include Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Northern and Walleye. Experienced fishing guides can be recommended. Bird-watching is plentiful on the Tiger Cat and can often be combined with a leisurely paddle on the lake. The cabin comes stocked with 2 canoes and 4 kayaks for use and there is a beautiful sandbar just around the bay with easy kayak access from the private dock for swimming or just hanging out for the afternoon. Adult and child sized lifejackets provided for safety. Bring your own motored boat or pontoon or rent one right on the lake and avoid trailering and loading/unloading.
