Did not expect much from the price Staff was nice as always in Indonesia Will do for 1 short night if you plan on going for sunrise tour at Borobudur temple But I guess that’s because I was alone in the solo rooms dormitory. With other people I guess the noise would have been an instant no. Earplug is a must though as you literally on the road with car passing by until late Towels weee old and some stains, toilets were clean same for shower but they were old and not well maintained ; impossible to get shampoo/body wash from the distributor it was broken

Amazing place to stay, we could check in after the midnight. Service is very good, a person at the front desk helped us a lot shewed where we can exchange money and how to get to the Borobudur temple. The room is very clean and comfortable. The wifi is good in rooms and public area.

The hotel is only 200 meters from the VIP entrance to Borobudur Stupa. The tourist entrance has been shifted 1 km away. The hotel staff are rather helpful.. Feels like home away from home. Ask for Ms Himatul if you need FOC transport to the tourist or VIP gate. Food is nearby and the hotel has a microwave oven which you can use to reheat your left over meals.

Almost everything was perfect. Room, sheets and bathroom were clean and tidy, there was hot water in shower, drinking hot water dispenser in common zone. But soundproofing wasn't good because single room doesn't have its' own floor slab and as the hotel situated just on the main road you can hear every motorbike or car inside your room. Besides of that bathrooms and toilets had doors not full-height almost like in western-style movies and also were tiny (baths & toilets).

The hotel staff was very helpful, friendly and caring. We were travelling in Indonesia with my grandparents but my grandpa was unlikely got hit by a motorcycle. His condition was very serious. The hotel staff spontaneously went to the hospital to help us and gave us a lot of useful information. They also bought us food and drinks. We are really grateful to have them with us during those difficult times as we do not speak Indonesian and obviously we were under great stress. Their assistance relieved us. They even tried their very best to find someone who can speak Chinese to see if they can offer us help. Moreover, they offered a free hotel room just in case we were unable to transfer to a bigger hospital in Yogyakarta. Their hotel may not be the best in the town but their warmness and hospitality far exceeded any five star hotel I have stayed before.

Very convenient to Borobodur temple and close to many eateries. Rooms are clean and of decent size. Recommend to maintain the cleanliness of their toilet and shower room.

We had a wonderful stay at Wat Agung Guest House! Reception desk staff were super friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and big enough to stay comfortably with two big backpacks. The location is perfect if you want to get to Borobudur temple early-It’s a 5-10 minute walk to the ticket office. You can buy a ticket online, or at the ticket office. I suggest going early if you opt for buying a ticket on site as there is a daily max of 1200 visitors allowed on the temple. We bought tickets online on Traveloka (some online tickets, like ours exclude the temple visit, but you can pay separately for a temple ticket add-on for 80 000 IDR per person) There are a few shops and restaurants around. Definitely recommend this property!

Location is good as walking around 10 minutes from Burobudur ticketing office. Staff are friendly and water dispenser for cold, warm and hot are available at common area which is good. Downside is room have smell.

Lokasi dekat banget ke borobudur. Staff nice. Toilet, AC, bed ok. Standart guest house.
