Casa Azul Bed & Breakfast

Katharina is a wondrful host, kind and attentive. We spent one night in her B&B during a road trip in New Mexico, and we cannot but say wonderful things about our host. She was nice and cooked us a wonderful breakfast. The room was clean and very cozy, the bathroom spotless and the conversation very nice as well

Not the best first experience at a bed and breakfast. First things first, there's a little dog that bites your toes when you walk. There's also two cats that are on all the outdoor furniture, so everything is covered in hair, and you will be too. All animals are also inside, so I hope you don't have allergies. That would have been very helpful knowing when reserving, instead of when you're bringing in your luggage and it's too late to cancel, as I DO have allergies and I had to deal with that too. Still trying to get hair out of my car fabric. Host is a 6 out of 10 on friendliness. We were told twice that "it wasn't the Marriott" after we asked about was if there was coffee available, and what time breakfast was served. We did not get the two rooms next to each we were told we would get. At 9:30am, host was asking when we would be leaving, checkout is at 10. I would not recommend. I will stay at the motel down the road next time.

Casa Azul's Bed and Breakfast accommodations were very clean, comfortable and homey. There are not many good options in the backcountry but thankfully there is Casa Azul. I arrived the day after a snow storm and the host knew the local restaurant was closed. She was very thoughtful and saved a dinner for me although it was not part of the reservation. The breakfast she made was very delicious and presentation was beautiful. She checked with me the night before on food allergies and preferences. The property was a home away from home and very peaceful. If I could stay for more days I would have! Thank you!

A wonderfully unique, cozy, and relaxing B&B in the heart of New Mexico. Kat, along with her wonderful pets (cats & dog Blanca) provided warm hospitality - all capped off by a delicious breakfast before I had to continue on my journey. Looking forward to the opportunity for a return visit, next time with my wife - and hopefully for more than just one night. Would recommend to any and all travelers or visitors to the area.
