Arrived late at night to be allocated a tiny and most dismal so called double room in which you could not swing a cat. Complained that night but had to wait until the following morning to be given a new room which ended up being right behind the bar area which was ever so noisy until the early hours of the morning. Breakfast was a real disappointment as nothing was covered and open to flies. To sum it up we paid extra cut our 20 day holiday short!! The worst part is we love Bitez and after this experience will never go again!!

This hotel is in a great position right on the waterfront. The views are wonderful looking across the bay. While enjoying your Turkish breakfast which includes freshly cooked eggs of your choice you can appreciate this view. The staff are exceptionally helpful and can’t do enough for you. The owner is always around , checking you are happy and making his guests feel welcome. The pool area is attractive and well maintained and wasn’t used by many people when we were there as most people seemed to prefer lying on the hotel sun beds at the beach- we had a “ private” pool for several days! If you are a cat lover there are a couple of friendly moggies about who will appreciate your attention! The restaurant is good and well priced as the seafront restaurants can be expensive. Their salads were delicious and there is a wide ranging menu. The rooms are small, a bit dated and could do with more storage space but included in the price is air conditioning and a safe. For what you pay this hotel is exceptional value.

I have being going to Bitez and Manuela Hotel since 1996 and now that i go on my own now i can honestly say that if you want a friendly and relaxing holiday you will not find anywhere better. At this stage its my second home and i wouldnt dreram of going elsewhere and the staff in Manuela are top class.

We are just back from an amazing months holiday Oktay Basyurt { Owner) . Archie and all the staff for such a memorable holiday they all make you feel like family I have never felt as well THANK YOU SO MUCH. I would highly recommend Manuela Hotel Bitez***** They make you feel so at home and carefree nothing is to much if you need anything you only have to ask. The restaurant is one off the best we ate there quiet a bit could not fault it. The steak has to be the best in Bitez we had three different steaks with different sauces and all three where just amazing well worth giving them a try you wont be sorry and the setting is romantic .The rooms are very clean ,clean towels every second day beds changed. Again thank you all for a fantastic stay. The Entertainment is fantastic from Cuban band which are fantastic live singers which are also great and Karaoke there is something on every night. And there is also a sports area. Again I would highly recommend Manuela Hotel Bitez.

Just back from this amazing hotel after my second 5 week holiday there this year. The staff are wonderful and can’t do enough to make sure your holiday is as enjoyable possible. The food in the Al la carte restaurant is fantastic ate there most nights as there was no where better. Oktay that owner is always there making sure your enjoying your holiday and everything is as you would like if. The rooms are good with a double and single bed in our room for two. The sheets are changed regularly and towels daily. Typical Turkish breakfast with lovely bread that you can smell baking in the mornings. Hotel is right on the beach so morning coffee taken to beach bed. Attended a fantastic wedding held at the hotel. Everything was done to perfection and went without a hitch. Amazing stetting for a wedding and would highly recommend Evening entertainment as first class. Returning again in May 2025

Just back from another amazing holiday at the Manuela hotel where it’s just like visiting family! The staff cannot do enough for you, from Oktay, Ersun, Ender at the bar and Arjy. Our days spent at the hotel were made more comfortable by Gelal and his team! It’s an amazing location and the rooms are cleaned every day with lovely fresh towels! We do B&B and the turkish breakfast is fabulous & plenty of turkish tea on tap. It’s a central location to Bitez beachfront and the lovely restaurants but we didn’t need to travel far to have an amazing meal in the manuela restaurant! We attended a wedding which was organised by the hotel & what a day from start to finish! Would highly recommend anyone wanting a beach wedding to consider this venue! Until next year!!

Where do I start I have stayed at Manuela many times and also just visited every time I have been made to feel part of the Manuela family. Oktay, Argie and the rest of the staff always make you feel welcome whether walking past or staying with them. The rooms some small some large are immaculate and so well furnished if anything is missing all you have to do is ask and it is there. Would I stay again at this beautiful hotel nestled in a small but beautiful corner of Bitez 100% I would. Thank you to everyone for always making my holiday a wonderful relaxing experience 🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷I will see you all again next year till thank you have a good rest .

I am just returned from the Manuela Hotel Bitez Turkey,..I am a lone traveller and this Hotel is ideal. The Hotel has an excellent situation 1 minute walk out of Hotel and you are on the beach, which has comfortable loungers and a beach service for drinks etc. Also the restaurant is situated on the beach, with a beautiful view of Bitez especially at sunset.The restaurant has a very good menu and the food is excellent and reasonable priced. The Bar is area is also very comfortable with a varied range of drinks and cocktails. Also free entertainment every evening from Karaoke a excellent singer to Cuban music and dancers not to be missed The rooms are comfortable and clean with linen and towel changes every day. I highly recommend this Hotel, where every member of staff from the Owner, reception staff, restaurant and bar staff and housekeeping are all there to help friendly staff where nothing is a problem to ensure their guests have a happy relax holiday. Go on give it a try you will not regret it

Just returned from a fantastic stay at the Manuela hotel. Our room was very clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. All the staff are so friendly, especially the beach, bar and restaurant staff, nothing is too much for them. The restaurant food was always very good quality and lots of it. There is entertainment every night in the Temple bar, including singers and a fantastic Latin band. The beach is right on the doorstep, literally a step from the sitting area and restaurant. The sea is really shallow, so great for families and the view is amazing. It really is a special hotel and there are so many people who return time and time again , which says more than I ever could.

The hotel was pleasant with a medium size room, good breakfast and generally pleasant staff if a bit pushy at times. The buses are the easiest way to get around and cheap at .70 pence for the journey into Bodrum. There some definitely some good buys to barter for but also a lot of tat so aim at half the asking price when you see something you like but don’t go to the first shop you see as others will be cheaper. The small beach was nice but the sea is cold. It was meant as a short break and it ticked all the boxes we needed.

First of all, I suggest that you read the review of jennywren31 (also Sept 2024) because it is spot on. It provides lots of factual detail about the hotel and is very helpful in making expectations realistic. I'll try not to repeat anything in that review, but instead - in the spirit of that review - I'll add some specific details of my own. First of all, Bitez will appeal to some, not to others. It is surprisingly expensive: the prices of drinking and eating out are roughly the same as in the UK. To our surprise Bodrum was significantly cheaper, and so was Kos town (Greece) which we visited for one day on the catamaran ferry (more of which later). There isn't really a beach in Bitez. There is a narrow strip of a sort of goldeny-brown impacted grit between the waterside bars and the sea. The strip is covered in sunbeds packed together. The sea is lovely though - calm, warm and teeming with grey fish. You do need swim shoes because there is a painful line of pebbles to get over when walking into the sea. Manuela hotel is near the Eastern end of the 'beach' and during the day it is relatively quiet and peaceful. At night it transforms itself into the noisiest venue in the whole resort. This is because it hosts live muzak every night in the large, open bar which is cavernous and dark like a British social club. The bar - with its sports screens, drinking culture and live music whose material seems exclusively drawn from some sort of Med Resorts song book (e.g. 'Forever in Blue Jeans', 'If Paradise is Half as Nice' and so on) - thumps and bumps raucously right through 'til nearly 1 a.m. every night, and it's not 'til 1.30 that the noise tends to die away. I have to say that while we found it torture, many residents absolutely loved their nights in the bar. If that's not for you then do bring earphones/plugs. If you want a change from Bitez then I recommend that you visit the quiet, stony beaches at the far end of the curving bay, the beaches that are reached through the marina and along a stony track. Again, you will need swim shoes (and you have to not object to sharing the beaches with the Russians who seem to appreciate the quiet - ironically). Do visit Bodrum too. It's a vibrant small city and has a fabulous castle whose £19 entrance fee is actually very good value. You can get to Bodrum by standing on the pavement opposite the hotel main entrance and hailing the dolmus (mini-bus) as it comes along. The fare is only 30 TL - very good value. You get the bus back from the same place as it drops you off - in Bodrum bus terminal. The easiest way to pay your fare is to touch the fare screen with your card as you get onto the bus. I'd also recommend getting the ferry from Bodrum to Kos for a day trip. Kos is packed with very impressive ancient ruins, and again is vibrant yet relaxed. One downside to the Kos trip is that getting on the ferry seems chaotic (you hand your passport to a boy who takes it to the office where they print your boarding p

Perfectly sited for our holiday. Lovely walks around coast, bus stop just outside hotel. We stayed 2 weeks was great. Octi the owner around every day. Adgi always there and great. Let’s begin by remembering that this is a 2 star hotel. So if people want the height of luxury then more stars will be needed for their choice. In this review there will be suggestions to make life easier for people and to help them manage their expectations and before anyone thinks I’ve never been to Turkey before, let me explain my first visit was in 1990 and yes I've been many times since. There is no plug in the washbasin (often due to the custom of the country and the preference for running rather than standing water) so take a universal one. Secondly (and I was a little disappointed that this was the case) there were only paper cups in the bedrooms next to the kettle and no teaspoons and no glasses at all. They’d provided teabags and coffee but no milk (normal in Turkey), however there is the Gizem supermarket across the road where you can purchase UHT milk and water etc for the fridge. In our room we also had a small ice cube tray although I’d brought my own too. The supermarket did not sell mugs (only glasses for tea) and so we also had to buy glasses too for our room. Obviously, I understand that no glasses is because they would prefer you to purchase at the bar. Take mugs if essential. BEDS The beds were very comfortable but had no top sheet just a thicker cotton coverlet. A guest who has been coming to this hotel for 30 years told me that this was also normal. If you travel with Jet2 the safe and aircon are free. FOOD As a Muslim country, do not expect bacon for breakfast in this hotel. If you are flexible then there is plenty of extremely healthy food to enjoy. There are a range of sweeter Turkish breakfast breads kept warm and inside near the temperamental toaster there is white and brown bread. There is a magnificent range of olives of all colour, cucumber, tomato and fresh rocket, dill and flat leaf parsley and lettuce and a wide selection of Turkish cheese. There were some cold cut meats too but I avoid because they are usually beef which is not my taste. There were jams, butter (unsalted), honey, and plenty of different cereals including muesli and a chocolate looking one as well as two different types of raisin, sultanas, apricots, plain yoghurt and one that looked like bran flakes. Fresh watermelon and orange cut up too. A drinks machine that dispensed juices (I did not try) and a machine that dispensed ice cold water which was lovely. The coffee machine seemed of a high standard and I had a latte every day which was decent quality. There was a tea urn which contained Turkish tea and also hot water and tea bags for those wanting breakfast tea. I’m afraid all the milk was UHT which is what I had experienced before. There was an egg station where a lady cooked omelettes or fried eggs for people and there were also hard boiled eggs. I was very happy with the breakfast offer but wish the hours were longer ( 8 – 10) because I detest rising early. INTERNET The internet is good in the bar and utterly hopeles
