The most fantastic place ever! The rooms are stunning. The surroundings are stunning. The staff are the friendliest, courteous and attending folks I ever encountered and let me tell you my wife and I have traveled the world. If you're looking for the most enchanting, spectacular place to visit, this is it!

Beautiful views from our room (Torre). Beautiful weather!!! Beautiful service, amenities and food! The best part was the beautiful quiet, even from the first moments when we were taken to our room by a quiet electric vehicle. We found our experience at The Post Ranch to be all we expected and so much more

Wow wow wow! This hotel took my breath away and I had high expectations. Very relaxed and back to nature (almost retreat like). Wonderful helpful friendly staff. The room was out of this world with the best view I’ve ever had. Bed was Devine. The room has everything you need and more with the highest quality products. Restaurant food quality was exceptional. The hotel was worth every penny and more. Memories that will last forever and one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed

We spent 4 amazing days at Post Ranch surrounded by incredible natural beauty and attentive impeccable care by the staff. We felt more like family than guests. Our ocean house was recently remodeled and we enjoyed the amazing views and our own private hot tub between the spring flowers. Cannot think about anything more relaxing but of course dinner at Sierra Mar was an experience in itself. The staff was accommodating to all our wishes and guided us through an ever changing gourmet menu. The pool was warm and beautiful and snacks or a whole meal/cocktails was a quick phone call away delivered by the always available Sierra Mar staff. The reception and Mercantile staff ran to the rescue when I inadvertently touched some poison oak and Shannon the Botanist extraordinaire took care of me as if I were family. We were sad to leave and can’t wait to return. Can’t thank the staff and management enough for a fabulous weekend. BTW we already made reservations for our next escape to Post Ranch

From beginning to end, every desire was anticipated to ensure our stay was perfect. The quiet and absolute privacy was so unique! A soaker tub with windows opening to the Pacific, wood burning fireplace, best chocolate chip cookies ever! Wonderful grounds to wander, especially the Chef's garden.

My husband and I came here for a one night getaway and let me just say it was NOT worth the money. The food at Sierra Marr is borderline terrible. The service is even worse. I asked one of the waiters to explain the menu to me and his English was so poor that I asked him to kindly repeat himself, he then looks at me, roles his eyes and ask what language I understand. Can you imagine paying $2,800 for a one night stay and having hotel staff speak to you like that. Other things that were not great …. The pool has small bugs in it, there is no beverage or food service by the pool, the spa has no sauna or extra amenities and the shower is super weak. This hotel might have been worth the hype 30 years ago but definetly not now. I rather stay elsewhere.

There are not enough adjectives to describe our 20th wedding anniversary trip to Post Ranch. The helicopter trip in and out was amazing. Our Ocean Room was warm, inviting with unique architecture with a breathtaking view down to the surf. Although it was overcast for most of our stay, we still had a magical time. The hiking trails on the property were more extensive than we anticipated and were an enjoyable experience. Walking through the property, seeing the fog coming in and out was mesmerizing. We participated in the art walk and had another enjoyable stroll through the property. Dining at Sierra Mar was perfect with a stunning view from every seat. And that fireplace! Highway 1 being closed added another notch of intimacy to our trip.

This is the finest stay and dining experience I have ever had. Every member of the staff looks you in the eye and greets you warmly. They stopped what they’re doing when you come by making you feel like you were the only and most important person in the world. There are not enough superlatives to describe this experience and I simply suggest you try it. The Sommeliers are engaging and not condescending. The food and accommodations are the best of the Best!

Heaven on earth. Seriously. Perfect. Big thanks to the incredible staff on the property. I will never forget this transformative experience. The whole land is so serene and spiritual. On top of that there’s some of the big dining and views in the world. Can’t recommend enough!
