Nice hotel and bed room, the shower head was 5’ from the base of the tub so you had to duck to wash your hair. Very basic breakfast that frequently ran out of items. Biggest gripe is the stuffiness of the room. Due to French law they centrally control A/C, room would not get cool, then a park across the street had parties until 2-3AM so you could not open windows. You could still hear the partying through the windows. The proximity to other restaurants was excellent, but would not stay there again since never got a great nights sleep.

Excellent hotel for our brief overnight stopover prior to our super early ferry departure. Great family room, clean and well appointed. Friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent underground car park opposite hotel entrance. Highly recommended!

This is a lovely hotel in Caen in a great central location. Check in was easy and staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was very nice too and bed was very comfortable. Parking was very close by and convenient. Breakfast was very nice as were the breakfast staff. A pleasure to stay here. Thank you.

We arrived late (2330) and were greeted with a smile, which was so satisfying that we had booked a caring establishment. This was indeed true. Every member of staff met our, and we are sure would meet yours too if you book this hotel. Location is good, central for buses, shops (Especially for ladies), restaurants (some do not open on Sunday or Mondays) a supermarket, car parking. Nothing was any trouble. If you go to Caen stay here.

Have stayed in several Best Westerns over the past few years and this was one of the best. Marie, the hotel’s Directrice was so helpful doing everything possible to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Parking below the square opposite is discounted (albeit the spaces are tight for medium-large vehicles) as are meals at the name-asked but unrelated brasserie next door.

Big fan of Best Western in France and this one is another keeper. Comfy rooms, great service at the best locations for fair prices! They give you a discounted fee for parking at the Indigo République too, which I'd recommend for parking. Rooms looking towards the square offer a nice cozy view, the street can be a bit loud though in case you're a light sleeper.

Great location, friendly staff, spacious comfy rooms and a car park just feet away. It was ideal of a one night stop over for us but would also be a good centre for a few days. Restaurants just a short walk away and a nice breakfast. Would have preferred non machine coffee but it was still good.
