For a tourist without car, it is in excellent location, 7 minutes to railway station to/from airport on foot with luggage n railway ticket just cost nok44 , walking distance to cable station to Floyen mount or Bergenhus or Ferry pier and shops. I reserved a small room but got a room of good size with windows and sofa. There are supporting staff in reception always and they can help me for my enquiries. They can provide electrical kettle at request. Coffee is free in lobby. Breakfast is also good , simple with good choices. I will reserve it if I will visit Bergen again.

This place was perfect. Rooms are small but you get what you need. Excellent breakfast buffet. I think everybody will find something he likes / is allowed to eat. Helpful and kind personnel. On the last day I had to leave early - before breakfast - and they packed a to go breakfast for me. Without me requesting anything! Will come back for sure.

Location is good. Easy to walk to hotel. The room is clean and tidy.

Fantastic hotel, friendly staff, modern, clean, and spacious room, comfortable bed and good shower. The breakfast has a great variety of options, the potatoes in particular were amazing! (I need to learn the receipe for how they cooked them!) Gave plenty of energy for exploring Bergen, the fjords, and the mountains, made even easier due to the hotels brilliant location right near the waterfront. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent stay at Magic Hotel! The location is perfect, with all major attractions within walking distance. The rooms are spotlessly clean and well-maintained. And the breakfast? Delicious! Overall, a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable stay. 5 stars!

The hotel was very close to my drop off point. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well stocked with toiletries. Although there was no hot drink facilities in the room there was a free tea/coffee machine in the reception area. I was only there for 1 night so not fully aware of their facilities but there was plenty of hot and cold choice for a free breakfast and also glutten free food on offer and a room to leave your luggage.

Small room. But as for couple was fine. We had enough space. Breakfast is amazing. Great location. Like stay there. Would definitely book it again .

Awesome location. Supermarket is just below the hotel. However, soundproofing is not good. Can hear people talking from outside the hotel.

The hotel is easily accessible to all touristic places in Bergen, it’s only 5mins to the Bergen habour. Staff at the reception is friendly. The room that we booked is a little bit small for two people but the interesting point of the room is the high glass ceiling.

The hotel is located in a very nice place. I would recommend it to anyone.

We had a great stay here. Room was good sized and very comfortable. The location was right in the center and we walked to the start point of our fjord tour. As others have mentioned, the breakfast here was super. Really thumbs up for the breakfast.

Amazing hotel amazing location in middle of the city center everything is in walking distance maximum 15 to 20 minutes. So close to the seaport less than 5 minutes walk, so close to souvenirs shops and supermarkets. Breakfast is amazing with wide variety, Highly recommend it 😍.

Good location near the water front and fish market. Cable car station is only 10 minutes walk. Breakfast is very good with many choices of continental style food. Full cook English breakfast made to order.

Arrived at the hotel at about 11pm, when they can't find the reservation though I've got all my mails on hand confirming the correct date and the bookings. They end up finding it booked into the wrong month (a miscommunication between the hotel and the agency I booked through?). Anyway, we get upstairs and onto a terrace, getting into the room we're kind of surprised it's as small as it is. We think no more of it and head out to get something to eat. Turns out the hotel is located near a shady street where people literally sit and deal ***** in front of us, none the less uses ***** while we walked by. We get back after getting our food. Again realises how small the room is as we could barely sit and eat together, unless we had sat in the bed. TV did not work, the lights were really bad as well as one of the bedside lamps didn't work. There were handmarks on the glass-toilet door, and in the shower revealed by the hot steam. While on the topic of showers, the waterpressure was BAD, really bad. And to top it all off, there was no way of venting the room. No windows can be opened, we had to be on guard while airing the room with our entrance door. It was really bad air while sleeping and it got a bit to warm inside the room for our comfort, though all temps were turned down. TLDR; No windows, handprints on walls, electronics did not work, narc's right outside. Positives were: we got a "really good price" quote front desk workers, however I would say it would be a scam to pay more than we did. It's really central. Bacon at breakfast was a 10/10 according to my boyfriend.
