Apartamentos Lido Benidorm

We stayed at lido in October, the hotel was lovely and clean, rooms spacious and we were greatful to have two double beds in our twin! There’s only 1 lift and it’s small- we did see a lady in a wheelchair that would not fit, so worth noting if you have limited mobility. Food was plentiful, some not to our taste and did get slightly repetitive so we started eating out. Cocktails were beautiful- and the staff were lovely. We were worried about the hill but it’s not that bad- didn’t stop us walking up and down it a few times a day. Pool- unfortunately the sun doesn’t hit the pool area until late afternoon so it’s shady and absolutely freezing, this didn’t really bother us we spent most of our time on the beach. Views are incredible from the balcony, worth the walk up ‘cardiac hill’- saw someone on a review here come up with that name it certainly stuck for us! Overall a lovely little stay.

Lovely bright apartment the view from the large balcony is one of the best in Benidorm loved sitting out watching the water sking which is straight in front and at night when the front is lit up In a great location and very quite at night will definitely be staying here again

We booked a stay via Opodo/ *********** for a week in these apartments . We had visited the same complex a few years ago and it was wonderful however we felt badly let down this time. The pictures of our apartment bore no resemblance whatsoever to the accommodation we were offered. Having opted for a non smoking room the first thing that hit us was this room was clearly not. After one night we could hardly breath and our clothes smelt strongly of tobacco. We tried to contact *********** but to no avail so went to where we collected our keys from a place called Fincas Benidorm which is the nearby letting agency. We were greeted by the managed Kiko. My wife and I are both in our 50s and 60s and have served as Police Officers for sixty years between us. Never have we met such a rude arrogant person as this. His “bully boy” tactics were obviously meant to intimidate and he was totally dismissive of our complaint. Eventually *********** contacted the agency and we were offered alternative accommodation. I have no issues with the apartments in general just 6c and the atrocious behaviour of the manager at Fincas Benidorm
