Ah, DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Bengaluru, where the art of communication seems to be a lost cause, especially when it comes to informing guests about, you know, *minor* details like the non-availability of lounge services. This isn't my first stay with them, so you’d think they might have learned the basics of guest communication by now. But no, the front office team continues to impress with their consistent failure to mention that the lounge—a service one might assume is included given the booking—was unavailable. Why bother informing guests ahead of time, right? It's much more fun to let them discover this on their own after a long day of travel, when they’re eagerly looking forward to relaxing in the lounge. The duty manager was also in on the secret, maintaining a perfect poker face when asked about the lounge. The commitment to keeping guests in the dark was truly commendable. I mean, who needs transparency when you can have the thrill of unexpected surprises? What makes this even more baffling is that the team fails to understand that other Hilton properties go beyond and offer alternative amenities when the room is booked with breakfast. But not here! Why offer anything extra when you can just offer confusion and disappointment? So, to the front office and the duty manager—bravo! Your dedication to withholding information and sticking to the bare minimum has set a new standard. If only there were a rating for "Most Uncommunicative Service," you’d surely get five stars. In summary, if you’re looking for a place where communication is optional, surprises are guaranteed, and the bare minimum is the gold standard, DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Bengaluru is the hotel for you. Just don’t expect to know what you’re actually getting—because where’s the fun in that? Today’s incident is a prime case study on how a guest can go from 5/5 to 2/5. Also, you guys made a mockery of Hilton brand standards and hospitality 101. These two stars are for your Housekeeping and F&B team. If I knew I was paying, I would have not ordered substandard products. Hope you thrive to get better at communication and your service.
