The first front desk attendant was pleasant and got us into our room early which we appreciated. The carpet in our room was DISGUSTING and left our white socks filthy on the bottoms. The linens appeared to be clean as well as the bathroom, but there was a rusty, nonfuntional, toilet paper holder in the bathroom that needed to be replaced. The toilet paper roll was sitting on the tank of the toilet which was not very handy. The water was lukewarm at best the first day, and the second morning it didn't warm up at all so we couldn't use the shower. The phone didn't work and when we inquired we were told they are in the process of changing all the phones. We have since seen in other reviews that has been the story for some time. The icing on the cake was when we discovered there was no shuttle available to take us to the airport early in the morning. I guess we will never again assume that a hotel close to the airport does not have a shuttle. On a positive note, Kimberly at the front desk hooked us up with a very reliable taxi driver who was prompt and very accommodating. It was an expensive taxi ($40 tip) ride of less than 10 minutes. We have had positive experiences at Days Inn in the past, but this location was a disappoin**ent.
