My daughter and I stayed there for 4 days in mid October. The location is perfect and the staff are generally fine. In the morning of the second night, my daughter woke up with an insect bite on her finger. We thought it was just a one time incident so we did not do or say anything. The next morning she woke up with 3 more insect bites on her upper arm and face. This time I informed the staff at the front desk. He said the manager will contact me during the day via WeChat. The bruises from the bites were spreading and getting irritating and very painful. So, we went to a pharmacy and the pharmacist there recommended us some lotion. She thought they were some insects bites. The manager did not contact me until we got back to the hotel late at night. I asked the front desk what have they done to fix the problem, she called the manager and have the manager speak to me. The manager was adamant that those cannot be insect bites from the hotel because they have pest control done every month. His exact words were "absolutely impossible" or "绝对不可能". He suggested that it might be allergies. He said the only thing he could do was to make sure they have changed the bed sheets. I insisted that they at least change the pillows which they did. I have checked the bed for bedbugs but did not find any. So, it could just be one single insect that were lurking in the pillow. I attached the photos of my daughter's finger on the day and another taken one week after. You can decide if these are allergies or insect bites. However, I find the attitude of the manager unacceptable and very disappointing. First, he did not respond to our complain at all until we ask again late at night. Secondly, without even seeing the bite marks he tried to reject all responsibilities with "绝对不可能".
