The first phase of Changmu Xusheng Mountain Residence is a large courtyard surrounded by 8 small two-story buildings. It is located at the foot of the National Alpine Ski Center in Yanqing District, Beijing, and is close to the Winter Olympics Forest Park. To the north is Songshan Nature Reserve and Ski Resort, to the east is Yudu Mountain Scenic Area and Shijinglong Ski Resort, to the west is Huihuang Golf Course and Guyaju, and to the south is the Guanting Reservoir. It has 600 square meters of public space, 40-70 square meters of rooms and 700 square meters of courtyard. The ample public space planning includes catering (for breakfast, lunch and dinner, afternoon tea and bar snacks), concert living room (vinyl, piano, guitar, African drum, zither), cinema, library, fireplace living room, snack market, coffee hall, bar, tea room, children's activity area, commercial or art display exhibition space, etc. NOMOS ARCHITECTS is responsible for the overall architectural and landscape design of Shanju. The project design team all graduated from the world-renowned Bartlett School of Architecture, University of London. The village where the mountain residence is located is surrounded by apple orchards, and there are nearly 100 acres of professional BMX camps and a 1-kilometer-long creek forest health camp.
