The manager was very helpful. The basebord heat kept the room cozy, no drafts and soundless. The hotel is right naxt to the marina on Lake Superior, even the parking lot view was ok. Check out was instant. The rates were very reasonable. We will go back. The Washburn walking trail is right there.

Enjoyed our short stay at this property. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again.

The motel is a little older and could use some updating, The price of the motel was a bit high, I was in a rush when I looked and after the fact discovered I could have stayed at a more upscale motel about 8 miles away for about the same price as this motel. With that being said, the staff was friendly and overall our stay was ok.

Room was clean & neat, but a bit less than sparkling. Typical hotel mattress was pretty hard, wish ALL hotels would realize most of us don't tolerate such hard mattresses! But pillows were soft, fluffy & plentiful. Also, room was very hot, despite the heat being turned off, but we were able to open a window to cool it down. Kind of a typical small town "Mom & Pop" place. No breakfast or any amenities except coffee. However, the staff was delightful, friendly & caring. We had made an error in our reservation & they were more than helpful in accommodating us, so we wouldn't miss a special family event that we were specifically driving up for! That more than made up for the short-term lack of comfort.

This is a no frills, older hotel, but our room was clean, beds were very comfortable and linens were thick, not cheap. The staff were very friendly. It was fine for the price and a good sleep as we were just passing thru.

Wonderful people working and great room! We had hoped that there might be a continental breakfast. Everything was excellent!!

Front desk staff was extremely friendly. The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable (plush and soft mattress).

Quaint, clean, comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Great view of bay, easy walk to downtown.

The staff was great. There is no elevator! The room was very nice but the beds are tall. We will definitely stay again. There is only one chair in the room but they did let us borrow chairs from eating area to play cards with the kiddo. Everything was very clean. Beautiful area by the marina, if only the weather would have been better we would have loved to go walking down there.
