I had paid for a unique club ocean-view room, but the hotel put me in a regular room without an ocean view. The cooler was not working, and to make matters worse, my room was not in the VIP section. As a result, I found it challenging to navigate the resort, which is massive. The unique club has its bars and restaurants for VIP guests, but I couldn't enjoy them. I missed meeting the Majordomo since he came while I was in the bathroom. I asked him to come back in an hour but he never got back to me. Furthermore, there was a mistake at the reception, where everything was wrong. They even congratulated me for my birthday when my birthday is in June. I spoke to the managers, but they seemed indifferent to my plight. I felt like I had wasted my energy, time, and money.

Visited this property on Jan 4th for a 3 night stay with my husband for out 2 year anniversary . We tried the uniques experience and let me say I was blown away!!! It’s my first time trying an all inclusive hotel. We were assigned a private butler Jimmy who was such a help with booking our dinner reservation an other needs .
I rate that this experience 4.8 overall. The property is clean and well kept . Buffets offer a wide variety of food however I love the unique buffet overall. Drinks are a bit watered down depending on what I order but overall good .
Definitely will recommend a revisit .

Would highly recommend this resort. I had very little issues abd would definitley would return. The unique experience is the way to go!

The hotel is lovely, the food is a disappointment. Being by the ocean you would like to have fresh fish at least which was impossible to find here.

By the end of day 1 of a 4 day trip, I was annoyed, frustrated and ready to leave the property. That has never happened while on vacation in 'paradise'. As my Husband put it, "Never have I ever been so impressed (by the beauty of a property) and disappointed (by everything else) on vacation. This was by far the worst trip we've ever experienced and I will never ever go to another Lopesan property. I watched a few videos and they all gave rave reviews and to each their own experiences...we just did not enjoy ourselves in the least bit. This property is marketed as though adults have seperation from families/children when that is not true at all. There is no escaping the endless crying, whining, temper tamtroms, running of kids. While ai understand not every one is as annoyed by kids as I am, I have visited many places with kids. This was by far the most overwhelming and annoying experience ever. Very very disappointed in what I expected versus what we recieved because we were so excited to come.

The property was okay more on the smaller side of a resort the entire thing is walkable I did unique experience and the only thing that was worth was the unique food buffet besides that unique makes 0 percent sense in my opinion u get a butler but he really did not make the experience any different he did not live up to my expectations of what a butler service should actually be. Made nothing unique about my experience booking unique was more like booking typical. My husband hated most of the food the best food was the Italian restaurant but yea really was like a basic hotel hot great but not bad. It was just okay and if you are looking for fun night activities or at least some action by a pool forget it.

Pros- rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated.
Top Shelf Liquor for unique guests- all of it included- choice to buy as well.
Food- really good (it is a resort 😉) but food was good, tasty and fresh
Cons- hotel is huge- walkable- I would love for guests to have the option to walk or take a form of transportation back to their buildings. Walking back from the water park or the blvd to your room after a day or night of fun should be a choice and not the only option.
Steak house is only for adults- I traveled with my 13 year old son who is a meat lover, for whom I paid as an adult but wasn’t allowed to eat at this restaurant. This should be listed somewhere in order for an informed decision to be made. I wouldn’t have booked this hotel if I would’ve known this information beforehand.
Activities and its staff- weak during the day- basically nothing happens to entertain the guests.
Regardless of the cons, my son and I enjoyed our stay. Staff is amazing and views are breathtaking!
