Love this place! Best place to stay in Kathmandu! Very comfortable and clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful! The restaurant on the roof top is also a great place to see the Boudha Stupa lit up at night. Always look forward to staying here.

Pros: Staff is friendly and helpful. Location is great. 5 minutes walking to stupa. No tickets needed. Many restaurants nearby. Cons: Bathroom is too small. The sink is the most basic one without a counter. There’s no room for anything else except a toothbrush. Very inconvenient. There’s no shower door to separate the shower from the rest of the bathroom. The floor is all wet after the shower. WiFi is poor in my room. The staff end up getting me another empty room just for work. But that won’t be possible during busy season. No espresso machine but just instant coffee for breakfast

Lovely character and room interiors. There are mosquitos and no screens on the windows so a bed mosquito net is needed

The stuff was extremly helpful und nice. We loved as well the ******* interior. Forthermore there is a gorgeos terasse with View to the Boudha. And the bed is so comfortable.

Fabulous ******* hotel! We shall return in November 2014 . The staff is friendly and helpful and the room are a delight. The beds are comfortable and there is an excellent choice of breakfast options.

We had to wait 3 years to stay at this hotel which we first visited back then for a cup of coffee and fell in love with its look, location and ambiance. It more than lived up to our expectations when we finally got back this year, and were able to stay. We had room 301 which is up at the level of a roof terrace, with fascinating views across Kathmandu and the locality directly round the hotel. The room and bathroom were clean, well equipped and comfortable. The decor of the hotel itself is stunning, echoing the monastery next door. Each day's breakfast was excellent, offering a variety of hot and cold foods. But what really makes this hotel even more delightful is the friendliness, welcome, and efficiency of the staff who are unfailingly polite and helpful, and never miss greeting you when you go out, or come back. Being so near Boudhanath Stupa, the hotel is an excellent base from which to explore the whole Boudha area which offers a fascinating mix of traditional and modern shops and businesses, as well as a number of monasteries which are well worth visiting. On a very practical level, but extraordinarily useful, there is a clothes line on the roof of the hotel where you can hang any washing to dry.

This hotel combines traditional ******* styling with modern comfort and service. Situated near the awe inspiring Boudha Stupa, and next door to a thriving Buddhist monastery the hotel is the perfect place to stay and explore this area of Kathmandu. The staff are always ready to answer questions and provide information. In addition the hotel offers an excellent breakfast. It also has the added bonus of a washing line on the roof to dry any washing you do. And the views, while pegging out the clothes are simply stunning.
