I recently had a delightful stay at Hotel Tentrem in Semarang, and I can't recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome, and their attentiveness truly enhanced our experience. The cleanliness of the rooms and restrooms was impressive, which is always a top priority for me when traveling. The hotel amenities, including the gym, were excellent and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights for me was the delicious breakfast spread. The variety was fantastic, and the quality of the food was outstanding. I also want to give a special shoutout to Ibuk Elfi for her warm hospitality during breakfast. Her cheerful demeanor made our mornings even more enjoyable. As a coffee lover, I was particularly impressed by the skills of Mas Arafi, the barista. I thoroughly enjoyed the cappuccino, mocaccino, and café latte he prepared; each cup was a treat. His knowledge of coffee truly shines through in every sip. Mencoba hotel baru yang sempat viral. Lokasi persis di daerah kota lama. Mungkin karena masih baru maka kebersihan, fasilitas, dan pelayanan masih terjaga. Kamarnya nyaman dan sangat oke. Hanya saja sayangnya menggunakan ac biasa (bukan ac dalam) sehingga terasa seperti kamar biasa pada umumnya.

Room is clean and well maintained. Bathroom is clean and no mould. Room is cleaned daily. TV shows 3 movie channels plus other local and international channels. AC can be controlled via thermostat and cold. Lighting has some switches to control the mood. Buffet breakfast has western, Chinese, Japanese and local Semarang culinary. Overall we are happy with the accommodation and would come back next time.

This hotel offers excellent value for money and a pleasant overall experience. There is a small shopping mall nearby, which makes it very convenient to grab meals, coffee, or daily necessities without going far. One of the highlights is Sunday morning, when the area hosts a car-free day event. The streets become lively with people walking, exercising, and enjoying local activities, creating a cheerful and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Good location, hotel a little old but clean. Complimentary mineral water is restricted to 2 bottles only with only basic in the bathroom (shpoo n shower gel plus tooth brush n tooth paste). Requested for ironing board and iron that took around 45 min n 1 reminder

My fav hotel for staycation in Semarang but this time it’s not my lovely experience. First room I got has leaked aircon, it dripped every second so they offered a new room. In new room, the aircon didn’t work properly but I didn’t want to complain anymore as I didn’t want to change room again and again. Booked with breakfast but they said it’s too few guests on that day so they will just let me choose my breakfast from the menu. Only one menu for each guest. I didn’t like this because the room has no proper table to eat. Even there’s only one chair. So yeah, not my best experience. But maybe I’ll give it another try. This hotel usually offered good service. Maybe just wrong timing and situation for me.

Second time staying in this hotel. The location behind dp mall is a plus point. The room is not that big, but it's clean with reasonable layout. The bed is comfortable enough and they give enough pillows. The water pressure and the hot water is good. When we asked for extra mineral water, they gave it without extra charges. Overall, a very good hotel for business travellers or families with children.

We requested for high floor and good view and we’re obliged. We were told it is the new wing, however it is still somewhat oldish looking, especially the toilet is rather simply furnished. Breakfast spread is alright and has a lot of guest every morning
